Finding Mr. Destiny is a very sweet, feel-good movie with a meaningful message.Seo Ji Woo is afraid of being disappointed, which is why she doesn't finish books, doesn't eat the last cookie in the bag, and didn't go to meet her first love in Osaka. She is afraid to put herself out there for fear of being hurt. Han Gi Joon is the perfect match for her, because once he starts something he is determined to see it through; difficulty and setbacks don't deter him. Gi Joon pulls Ji Woo out of her comfort zone and helps her to realize that living in fear impedes you from realizing that endings aren't always scary, disappointing, or painful. Sometimes, reaching the end of something just means that it's time to start something new.
The only gripe I'd have is that I wish this movie had been like 30 minutes longer, just to give their relationship a bit more time to develop, but I was grinning practically the whole time, so overall good for at least a single watch-through.

Sweet and quirky - Recommended!
This movie was so cute! When I first started watching I kind of had my doubts about it, but once the story went on I really enjoyed it. Although I was confused about why they used Gi-Jun's face for Jong-wook. It was really weird to see him play 2 characters even though he wasn't Jong-Wook. However, I absolutely loved both main characters and their sweet and funny moments together. The last scene in the movie at the airport was really sweet to see actually. It just showed that they were indeed meant to be and that your first love doesn't have to be your soulmate. It was a cute touch to the movie. The movie is a bit slow and it had moments where my attention slipped, but overall fun movie to watch if you're bored :)Was this review helpful to you?

Your first love does not have to be your first-ever love!
I completely enjoyed this movie starring Gong Yoo and Im Soo Jung! The one thing that I got from watching this movie is that no matter how many years it will take, you will meet your perfect match if it is meant to be. Don't be too fixated on your first love, as you will never know what the future holds for you.
I must say that some parts of the story confused me (either I was not paying attention or just dumb lol) but the plot is simple yet entertaining. Gong Yoo's acting was so good as he portrays this goofy, nerdy, and clumsy man that is different from other roles he played in the movies/dramas I've watched. And of course, there are some swoon-worthy moments between the two main actors that just make your heart warm.
As for the cinematography, the director really captured India well in this movie as they focused on the beauty and gems of India. I also loved the theatre performance!
Overall, this movie is worth watching as it is not too heavy or too cringey, but just nice to watch if you're in the mood for a light movie to watch on a nice day.

i was expecting more :(it's a very slow pace movie
the story line although it was normal but i was hoping it'll be a great one
because
first: it had already the space to have more depth in the plot
second: gong yoo
the plot is quirky which bothered me much
i was questioning the whole time if goong yoo was her first love or not
it was a weak point for me that they portrayed both characters as goong yoo
and i didn't get the significance behind that, except the writer tried to give the movie more suspense
even the romance was a little cold for me because of the absence of depth in the story in my opinion

Jolie petite histoire
