Ice Fantasy Episode 23

Mermaid Princess is growing!

The Mermaid Princess really stepped up and I'm proud of her. While I'm slightly titillated by the idea of Shi and her together, I ship Shi and the Fire Princess more. I hope in the plotline the Mermaid Princess can find love somewhere else.

Now. What was with that flashback! It was the scene we had just seen! I hope this isn't a foreshadowing that the writers are going to lose their mojo because of the extension Ice Fantasy kept getting.

That said this was even slower then before plotting wise. It is still slowly building up to the greater picture. Finally the black smoke guy is revealed, kind of.

Ice Flame tribe? That's cool. Now for the full backstory please.

It was interesting seeing Ka Suo become a damsel when he slipped!! Ha-ha! What happened to all his fighting talents and what not? Though it did me proud to see Li Lou gallantly "save" him. Not to mention why the sword fairies were suddenly quiet this episode.

Lotus was with an Ice Flame member, so now I'm really wondering what her history with Flame is?

Overall a very visually pleasing episode, plot wise a bit slow. I'm annoyed with how everyone has plans for Ka Sou and no one will let him decide what he wants. I get that the higher ups think Shi will bring about some scary prophecy . . . but I'm an Ka Suo and Shi's side. There's no way my Shi could ever be evil! Ka Suo raised him better. ^_-
