Ice Fantasy Episode 24

Oh, my dramaland! Ka Suo and Li Luo's first kiss and is Flame really Shi's . . .

Wow, Lotus again had another killer flashback to end an episode! (Well nearly end, it was close enough.) Phew, Lotus and Flame had quite the scene. Personally considering the Ice King wedded Lotus for her pearl to save his father and never got it that's pretty good of him. Especially since he knew Lotus was with child with another man and that's why he couldn't get the pearl.

One can't help but feel for Lotus. Not only did Flame abuse her, but the Ice King cruelly wanted to use her as well. However, I don't think Flame is Shi's father. They made a point of showing us that Shi's power mimicked Ice Fire Tribe powers. That whole scene with Xing Gui!!!

It's not only that I don't want the Fire Princess and Shi to not be related--my ship has sailed on that and it must happen. The idea that the Ice Fire Tribe is a foe to both Ice Tribe and Fire Tribe! This guy has no problem with taking them out. Not to mention that apparently he killed all the children of the Ice Tribe, not just that one Fire Prince. Oh, and he's currently imprisoned another.

The Ice Tribe and the Fire Tribe uniting would be an epic plot!

So the big thing is Ka Suo and Li Luo's first kiss(es)!! How wonderful. At first I thought Ka Suo was just having another damsel moment. You know tripping so Li Luo could save him again. However, Ka Suo was clever! Though I think the tumble was long and maybe painful. I saw Li Luo's face, I think the actress slipped and thought how long do I have to keep doing this!? I hope they only had to do it in one take!!

Their romantic scenes were very stunning and I took a lot of screenshots. This episode was a great! Shi and Lotus finally confront each other, though I find it hard to believe that Lotus truly loves Shi like Ka Suo does. She is using her son as a play for power and revenge. -_-

Not to mention the Ice King telling Li Luo that he's sending her on a secret mission! Having a backup plan to restore Ka Suo's immortal powers would be good. However, I feel like the King of Ice is deceiving Li Luo.

At least Li Luo got an epic send off from all the other Immortal leaders and then got to have some romantic times with Ka Suo.

Overall a great episode! Things are really moving. At least they're slowly revealing things to us, even if not all at once. I was annoyed that Ka Suo confessed that becoming mortal was an answer from the gods, but Li Luo is still determined to cure him. I feel like everyone needs to pause and talk it out. Though I do feel bad that the Ice King has no one who want to be his heir!
