Missing 9

I usually don't make Recommandations, but since it's a rare theme in dramaland, I wanna suggest this J-drama. It's not the best, but it's pretty interesting. If in Missing 9 they are survivors of a plane accident on a desert island, in Limit they survived to a bus accident during a school trip

I realize Survival Code isn't even out yet (*cries*) but based off of the description alone they have the following similarities:

- groups that get trapped on a deserted island
- survival
-romance

I think Survival code will be a bit more serious than Missing 9 (Missing 9 is fantastic in the beginning, but I feel like they put way too much comedy into the latter half of the show, so it kinda defeats the fear / tension of the show sometimes).

The ML's personality is very similar in both. The main couple becomes each other's strength and support, helping one of them heal from a past trauma.

They are very different dramas but in both the leads have to scape from a very difficult situation.

One is fantasy and the other not, but both have similar elements. The FL begins the dramas having lost a portion of her memory, and the plot alternates between the past in flashbacks and present to explain the events of what happened when she and a group of people were stranded on an island. In both dramas there is a killer amongst the group and she must figure out who it is in present day. Both dramas also involve the FL meeting the ML shortly before the events on the island and the two forming a strong bond there.

Both very good mystery dramas with great acting. Suspense is also good. The mystery is entertaining and they both leave you off of your seat thinking about what's going to happen in the next episode. Both also have strong female leads!

Both shows deal with extreme situations where characters must find a way of surviving and saving people they care for...

Zhang Jing Yi is the FL in both. The chemistry is natural. The relationship had depth. However, BEITD does not have a satisfactory ending.

- Both about a group of people, also the main focus is of multiple murders/ deaths where they are trying to discover the truth about them
- They just remind me of each other, plus the relationship between the two leads are quite similar

Unexpected survival of a group of people on a deserted island.

What does a drama production company CEO, an ex-gangster, a wannabe idol, an OB-GYN doctor, an entertainment CEO, a school art teacher and a detective have in common? These 7 individuals were all involved in the heated case of a missing girl. As they attempt to escape their fate and pursue the truth, they find themselves embroiled in secrets, lies, and desires in this retribution tale.

Ra Bong Hee, the only known survivor of a plane crash that was carrying famous entertainment industry figures from the agency she works at, was found on a beach in China 4 months after the crash. Upon returning to Korea, she is put under the spotlight and the public outcries to know what happened to their beloved artists. However, Bong Hee doesn't remember anything about the crash due to memory loss. Nevertheless, she is forced to remember and re-tell the story of the other eight passengers' disappearance to silence the public's tumult.

The plot revolves around murder mystery and motives behind it, the suspects are close group of friends, also struggle to survival is common though the scanario is different.
In both series, you can see the evil side of human when he tries to survive by abandoning their humanity and values.

Both are about a group of people stuck at one location. Both have suspense, mystery, and are somewhat dark with a theme for survival. White Christmas is about a group of students stuck at an school over winter break whereas Missing 9 is about a group of celebrities stranded on an abandoned island.

Both follow a group of strangers who are stuck together in a deserted location as they struggle to survive. They eventually are saved and return to the world but then have to struggle with normalcy. There are romances and suspense in both.

Both dramas are: thrillers, have plots that are told through flashbacks, and include romance.
However, Circle also has a science fiction element to its story.

Similar-ish. Both have people stranded in a location. Characters don’t know each other that well. Both were interesting.
