Addicted

From what i know this is the first adaptation of the same novel Addicted Heroin was based on. It’s definitely worth a watch, as the show does some things differently compared to the Thai adaptations. It was also one of the first BL's i watch and really got me in to BL's. The same storyline as the thai version (because based on same book), however it is cut short and left on cliffhanger due to chinese censorship/ banning from showing.

Both are bls showing the suburbs, the poorer areas, not the glowy parts if the city. They are slice of life and the plot is pretty subdued at times. also both show conflicts with their parents and just a relationship naturally progressing.

In both the film and the drama the main protagonists are high school students. One of the two always sleeps in class. At first they hate each other, but then they get closer and end up living in the same class.

Both main couples have a similar attack-defend dynamic, and there's quite a bit of aggression bordering on dubcon.

The novel is based in China and drama is Taiwan. Similar to Addicted heroine, it is a story of two step-browser.
Slow paced and beautiful. Enemy to lover concept like addicted and blah blah blah, just watch and it's perfect.

It is the same story, kinda like a remake.

Addicted Heroin is more rough, more savage, and you get the essence of the story but it goes fast as it is only 15 episodes of 20 minutes.

Stay With Me goes more in deep of the character and the story. Stay With Me is longer in time and in episodes. We can also see a it more of the story since it is lenghtier. And personnaly, I think it is more elegant less rough than Addicted Heroin.

I'm recommending this because they have the same author. I'm reading the novels and I think everyone should as well. It took me so long to finish Addicted's novel because I would always need time to recover after every other chapter that I read. Currently, I am reading Counterattack, and it had the same effect on me. I've already secured a copy for Advance Bravely, and I don't know when will I be able to read it.

Just like Tharntype, Addicted started with 2 Alpha males who are tall and good looking. Both leads on screen chemistry are out of this world. Contains violence, offensive words, and one of the best plot lines in BL history. For mature audience only.

Vaguely similar in that the main leads are 'brothers' (not biologically), do not like each other very much when they first meet but end up developing into a more romantic-hinting relationship by the end. They both feature a father-son relationship and barely mention a mother.

They are both Chinese BLs. So if you want to check out another Chinese BL, Addicted Heroin is a good choice.

Gu Hai and Toh had Same crush love and obsession to knowing, Stalking and getting every little details about there crush, only difference Gu Hai has a crush with his class mate while Toh has a crush with his senior.
Toh is more weird, nerdy and funny.

Both are Chinese BL web dramas adapted from a novel. Despite the low budget and newer actors they still manage to feel high quality. Beautiful cinematography, music and acting. If you liked one, you'll like the other.
