After Life (1998)

Both films primarily explore what life after death could look like. They reflect upon what people (souls) valued most in their time while living, and how that connects to how they will exist beyond their original lives.

Both set in a special place for the deceased where work never ends. After Life is an award-winning film that focuses on individual memories though.
