In this movie adventure set in the world of Kamen Rider Drive, Shinnosuke Tomari, AKA Kamen Rider Drive, is visited by Eiji Tomari, his son who comes from a future where Krim Steinbelt has gone rogue and joined the Roidmudes to take over the world and enslave humanity. Eiji claims he is here to save the future by warning his father of Krim's impending betrayal and also to save his father's life. But is he telling the whole truth? Are his intentions pure? It's up to Shinnosuke and the rest of the Drive pit crew to figure it out and save the future.

In the sixteenth Heisei era Kamen Rider series, which is also the twenty-fifth installment of Kamen Rider franchise, Shinnosuke Tomari, a young detective in Special Investigation Unit of the Metropolitan Police Department fights against the Roidmudes, a race of robots fighting humanity for supremacy lead by Heart and Brain. With the help of his partner/scientist mentor/Transformation belt Krim Steinbelt, Shinnosuke becomes Kamen Rider Drive, A man made hero with the powers of automobiles.
