Han Soo lives alone with his mother in a small town by the sea. He is the star of the swim team, but just as they are preparing for a national competition that could earn him a college scholarship, Han Soo decides to quit. Then he hears the news of his mother's suicide attempt. He remains by her comatose body and falls into a bewildered state.
