Both dramas are very similar, and have the female lead as the ghost and the male lead as the human who can see her.. Both dramas have mystery & supernatural aspects, and both dramas have a mix of romance and comedy. :)

Difference

This drama is a perfect mix of horror, comedy and a romance that'll give you butterflies. Ok Taec plays Bong Pal, a ghost fighter who can see and touch spirits and gets rids of the evil ones to make a living. Kim so Hyun plays Hyun Ji, a good hearted lingering spirit who pesters him all the time but soon they grow fond of each other. However, it's intriguing and fun to see how their lives are connected. You should check it out if you like Heartbeat.

While both have the word ghost in the title, there are more similarities between the two dramas. One is the mystery of each show; in each drama, the FML has a close connection to the perpetrator. While Bring It On, Ghost has a few more supernatural abilities than Catch the Ghost, and both leading couples are adorable.

They both have the element of using Ghosts to solve crimes. Possessed is a lot darker though, not as light as this. If you are looking for a darker detective mystery with ghosts, possessed is where it's at. It's funny sometimes but I'm mostly scared out of my life

Both of these dramas are a entertaining take on the horror-comedy genre. Both male leads have the ability to see ghosts, but not necessary the ability to get rid of them. The side characters are a healthy dose of comic relief that put on airs of braveness yet flee from ghostly encounters. Entertaining, fun watches that occasionally get the heart racing.

Both shows:
>> Shows an FL who relies on the ML at first.
>> The ML takes it upon himself to take care of the FL.
>> Both leads establish a strong friendship.
>> The ML falls in love with the FL first and pursues her.
>> The ML are loners before meeting the FLs. However, they both have an older man who they consider almost a fatherly/grandfatherly figure lend them a hand.
>> The ML ends up teaming up with a group of misfits.
>> BIOG has a darker plot than DDSSLLS.
