One day, Morikawa Natsumi suffers an accident. Unable to be seen or speak to anyone, she becomes a ghost wandering the streets. She's shocked when she finally manages to make eye contact with a young man -- Ichijo Ryouei, a handsome heir and fellow ghost also drifting through the city. This is the prequel to the "Memory Arc" and "Love Arc", depicting the irreplaceable days Natsumi and Ryouei spent together after their first fateful meeting in the afterlife, along with the relentless pursuit of the Grim Reaper chasing them. This is an original story not found in the webtoon. (Source: emomiu.jp) ~~ Adapted from the webtoon "Take Me, I'm Yours" (날 가져요) written by RoseBean (로즈빈) and illustrated by One Punch Rabbit (원펀치래빗). I forgot how much I loved this show ~
After the second part, and after announcing this sequel I decided that I won't watch it because I had my closure and the HE in the second part already, and despite having some loose ends here and there, they were not enough to tempt me to watch what happens next. That been said, when I found out that it's actually the beginning of everything, a sequel that is telling the story of what happened before the first part, their meeting and how everything starts I was excited tbh~
Now about this sequel, it is as great as it can get, the thing is, you see it with a different eye since you already know what is going to happen and that everything will be alright sooner or later.
There is no mystery or anything, you just enjoy the moments happening between the two leads and how they slowly fall in love as spirits.
Personally, I think this is the best part out of the trilogy, despite being an original work and not in the source material, but it have the same feeling of the first 2 parts that you won't tell the difference, and because as I said we know what will happen, I wasn't really scared that something is going to happen, or that they'll surprise us with anything.
I love the two main characters, their interactions are the best and has some comical side too, I can watch them together forever, partially because the awkward panicking FL X calm and composed ML is one of my favourite tropes, also the two leads chemistry was spectacular, they just look good together and they also fit their roles like a glove.
I wanted to keep my review short, but obviously I couldn't, because this was really amazing and I've enjoyed it so much~~
it reminded me of how I felt when I watched the first 2 parts and how much I enjoyed them, I remember having some stuff that I couldn't stomach so I opted for not rewatching the whole thing all over and just enjoy these short 3 episodes and call it a day.
Highly recommended part, this is by far the only one that didn't piss me off somehow, cause no cliffhanger ends, no loose ends, simply a very light and cute short story that if you - like me- liked the first 2 parts, you will definitely love this one ~~
