Aisin-Gioro Hong Li (Emperor Qian Long) wants Ulanara Qing Ying to be his princess consort by giving her a Ruyi as a symbol of the main wife. However, the conflict between his mother, Niohuru Zhen Huan and the current Empress, Ulanara Yi Xiu, stops him from doing so. As childhood sweethearts, Hong Li persists in marrying Qing Ying despite the disagreement from Emperor Yong Zheng. In the end, the latter lets the two get married under a certain condition.

Immediate comment: What a beautiful soundtrack!I enjoyed FL's initial romance with (the possible) ML.My heart ached for the empress, even though she may have been wrong.I'm apprehensive about our protagonist's life in the harem because of the prince's favoritism towards her.

i already know from the acting and cinematography and all that this will definitely be a good drama to watch but huhu it's a tradegy! my heart can't take it
