I dropped this drama once, thinking how plain the female lead is, and how she left her little students by themselves only to look for a wounded man. Once I picked up again I stayed for several more episodes and the story gets better. Nonetheless, there are some fillers like Jae In's sister and Jae In's ex, probably inserted in the drama to spice up the show but they're not done right. Should expand more on Tae Ha and Hyeon Jin. The chemistry is strong with some steamy kisses. And I love the real deal proposal, it sounds so grounded. Was this review helpful to you?
SOOTHING DRAMA
I Literally watch it whenever iam bored and have to be in a relax mode....i did watch it for 7 or 8 times....I think..It is a Rom Com where we can see all effects with proper direction and screenplay...
without any boring characters and good love story.... with structured story line and with meaning....
#Male lead Arrogance and short temper at start and his way of changing when he is in love with, his jealousy/possessiveness/ thinking in her POV.........ESPECIALLY CUTE BUT NOT CRINGEE,,, CUTE...
#FL ...So min....slayed it....completely humble, kind, not a pushover, gentle and WHATNOT....
#ML Family and his mother and grandfather characters what not i liked all the characters in this drama....
Hope to see Rom Com like this....No......No......I dont want to see dramas like this.....I can watch it again and Again.....

Where do I even begin with how much I love this drama?Apparently, it's a remake of a drama that was made in about 2003 with a similar name so try not mixing them up. I know I did lol.
Anyway....
I'm reading the premise and thought - this can't be all that good. I'm woman enough to admit when I'm wrong and I WAS WRONG!
I have no idea who any of these actors were before this drama. The acting was amazing. The story and premise were dope. The kisses were fire.
I love an alpha male--but not the kind who are bullies. People tend to mix the two up these days. You can tell he Jae In wants to protect DaDa and he isn't quite sure without being an ass about it. It was hilarious and beautiful.
The female lead is the kind of lead I live for--strong, smart, pretty, feisty. She wasn't whiny or cried over every little thing. She's respectful but isn't a pushover. At one point I thought she was going to fall off that pedestal I had her on, but my girl DaDa held firm.
The interactions between both leads from the first time they met was everything! I found myself screaming at the screen!
I laughed. I cried. I cheered. I scream "that's my girl!"
There were a couple of things that didn't sit right with me - I wanted to see Joo Hee go to prison and become someone's b*tch because I'm evil like that but she's on my list for what she did. The look on Jae In's face when he found out who did that to Dada--he was about to burn someone's world to the ground and I was there for it.
And that scene afterward when she storms in and was told she needed an appointment? OMG! I thought her head would have exploded and I would have been there for it.
The secondary characters were on point except Jae In's sister was a tad weird. She popped up a few times. I suppose she was one of those throwaway characters - not sure. She didn't give me much of anything and didn't really give anything to the storyline.
The rewatch on this is off the scale!! I'll be rewatching it sometime down the road when my muse gives out on me again. I love this drama - trust me, it's amazing.

It's something that can rarely be used to describe a drama. Normally it starts off good but somewhere things go wrong and the show goes down hill.
Not this one. Perfection is the best way to describe Something About 1 Percent.
I have enjoyed EVERY MOMENT of this drama. Its sweet, minimal drama, smart characters, and has relationships that feel more real and intimate than actual relationships that I've been in. Not only is the acting amazing and genuine, the chemistry is off the charts.
Although this was a remake, it blows the old one out of the water and should be considered to be the ONLY VERSION of this show. Jae In is a dream man and DaDa is someone who every woman should aspire to be.
Truly, I'll be sad to put this on my completed list but for sure, there are many rewatches in my future.

Something so different from other dramas (My 1%)
I came across this drama by accident because I had nothing else to watch but when I noticed the high ratings on Viki, I knew I had to give it a try. But boyyy that was the best decision I’ve ever made. If you’re looking a for a simple story with characters that have an amazing chemistry from the start, this is the drama for you. it’s not drama heavy, and the story behind it could’ve been written better to make it even more interesting, but I kept watching for the romance. Seeing how the characters change over time and how their love just kept growing, despite them knowing it was all supposed to be fake kept me watching for hours nonstop. So again, it’s a light hearted drama, it’s refreshing, and simple, but there’s just something about it that I know I won’t be able to forget.Was this review helpful to you?

Just That 1% To Score 10 For This Drama
This was just a lovely drama to watch. The story focused a lot on both the male and female lead and was very well featured in each episode. I liked very much that Jae In (Ha Seok Jin) though tough and arrogant had a very warm and gentle side to him when it comes to true love (and can be quite possessive at times in a cute way). Certain and confident, he held the story/relationship throughout with finesse. One cannot help but wished that we were in Da Hin's (Jun So Min) shoes, swooning to the chase. However, she held her own as the lead actress who did not easily fall into his arms and taught Jae In a lesson or two about love and life.The show had all the emotions which made me giggle, laugh, cry a little and heart fluttered a bit too to a happy ending.
A beautiful show from beginning to end and highly recommended to those who does not like dramatic love stories. This drama is captivating, easy to watch, no boring in betweens and pretty straightforward. I will not write details in this review as the beauty is discovering them as you watch. Enjoy!!

An amazing rom com
Something about 1 percent hits all the right boxes. It's a contract relationship done right, it is very funny, very romantic and a drama with a message. It hit a home run on everything a drama should hit.The chemistry between the two leads is also scintillating and very refreshing in the land of open-eyed kisses. Moreover, the business element of the drama was adequate without overpowering the romance. I particularly loved how we did not go through the angst purgatory stage that romance dramas like to delve in . Everything still just flowed even when there was that tension.
The music was also very good and the supporting cast all had very compelling story lines. Usually in dramas like this, the support cast are just fillers but not in Something about 1 Percent.
The message was also solid . "Someone's 1% can be someone elses 99% of luck"so be kind. Essentially.
Did I mention that the chemistry is SIZZLING ????
I definitely recommend this drama.

You reap what you sow and what you give comes back to you... This is the sweet story of DaDa and her grumpy man.
It is fast paced and the plot is on point. Usually the problem with this kind of sweet drama is they drag it out as much as they could, (hello, My Secret Romance) but this is just the opposite. In the beginning the male lead seemed off and also - im sorry Ha Suk Jin- old for his role but later it turned out really good.
We get a last minute second OTP which makes the show just perfect ^^
If you think what you need is one more happy ending then definitely watch it. :)

Simple love but complicated story ♡
something about 1 percent is my first drama which I seen. I love this drama very much.full of romance and comedy,lee jae in and kim dahyun are really looking good couples with each other. they make a fake engagement ( fake date)for a period of time.and in that time they fall in love with each other after finishing the fake engagement they want to stay together all life.so this is drama story the music is also amazing. I hope you will like it you are interested in romance but this is your choice to watch it or not.♡♡Was this review helpful to you?
