The epitome of a toxic relationship.
I thought by 2016, kdramaland would have evolved from the Boys over flowers’ abusive behaviour depictions. Here, we have a clearly toxic and controlling ML that could be potentially even dangerous. (Fast forward in your mind how a controlling bf turns into an abusive husband.)It is unfathomable to me how this thing was written and accepted as a scenario of a rom com (and how so many people gave it such good reviews).
Young watchers beware. What is passed as tsundere but overly smitten ML is actually a character fraught with abusive actions towards the FL. Needless to say, actions which no woman should accept or even face. We are not talking about a consensual S/M relationship. We are not talking about fiction vs reality but about a very bad example of what falling in love is or is supposed to be and what is deemed as “passionate” or “cute and loving” behaviour.
E.g. Several grabbing, dragging and pushing moments where the FL looks actually scared and/or uncomfortable, controlling what one wears, not allowing FL to have other male friends, disregarding FL’s needs/emotions, the list can go on for ever.
Do not get me wrong, I do enjoy the occasional kabedon (and its variations) when it actually is an expression of passion and NOT dominance. This is not about that. This is not raw passion or love but rather, disrespect, apathy, manipulation and abuse.
Have I deterred you enough? I have more!
Subpar acting paired with mid 2000s fashion and restaurant scene choices. (No korean food restaurants whatsoever for some reason.)
I honestly cannot see how this thing even managed to air without an audience outcry.

A love story so enjoyable to watch !
No need to say too much, this is kind of modern cinderella love story : no chance this is to happen in real life !So enjoyable to watch, every girl would like to have such a handsome boyfriend even though he seems not to know that a girl is not just an object or a toy you can control as you like ! The guy is a jerk but he finally tuns out to be so considerate... I didn't like him that much at the beginning, but I just loved the couple relationship.
Very nice actor's chemistry and many everlasting hot kisses make you share and feel their love ! I was just thrilled and hooked on this couple.
I enjoyed this K-drama very much. Please yourself and watch it !

This was such a cute romance. The leads had great chemistry and Ha Seok-jin is dreamy to look at.I normally have to skip a lot of boring scenes in shows but I didn’t skip any in here. There were no boring side romances and the politics were simple and not hard to follow like some in some shows I’ve seen. Every episode was right to the point with no unnecessary fillers.

What a lovely romance!
Start out with a contract relationship, hate at first sight, misunderstandings, a cold man and a soft-spoken woman, and you think it's going to be like every other Asian show you've ever seen. You'd be wrong. This is one of the few shows that I've seen that I revisit time and time again.Ha Seok Jin plays Jae In, the typical cold, work-obsessed corporate man. The hair and makeup department did an excellent job with his transformation throughout the show. He starts out complete starched, his hair is perfect and highlights his always austere expression. Over time, his look relaxes and I loved seeing that.
Jun So Min plays DaDa, the elementary school teacher. She wears the non-stylish, comfortable clothes required for working with little kids all day. She's somewhat mousy, and at first glance you think she's going to be a doormat. You will have that impression corrected very quickly. She does not suffer fools gladly.
The story of how these polar opposites meet and become involved is wonderful, in my opinion. DaDa doesn't let Jae In get away with anything, which is funny to watch, because he's used to always being in control. These two have wonderful chemistry together and this show has some of the best kissing scenes out there! There's nothing earth changing here, just a terrific show, that I think you'll be glad you watched.

The actors are great. I like how the story is very light, perfect when you just want to chill after a long day from school or work. There's also this tingly sensation caused by the protagonists that would make you want to go into a relationship as soon as possible.
Overall, it's a good drama to watch. Try it!

It started strong but ended weak.
The drama started really good. The female main character actually had a backbone and gave as good as she took. The two leads had chemistry and their relationship development was actually believable without too much crazy on it. Sadly the drama took a turn for the worse in the last few episodes, with some craziness being thrown in out of the blue and unnecessary situations happening. The last few episodes were just so-so. I would recommend watching it, not a master piece but definitely entertaining.Was this review helpful to you?

One reviewer wrote this is a hidden gem and I absolutely agree. I can across this drama after reading an article that was listing recommended dramas. I said why not. I love it. I have watched it a few times already. Episode 5 is one of my favorite episodes. I laughed and kept repeating. Very cute couple. I have to say I didn’t like the puppy on the ledge scene. I was like how the hell did a puppy get on a 2nd story ledge?!?! That just didn’t make any sense. Just watch that scene and get back to me. Just the right itch
This was the itch that've been wanting, the perfect amount of cliché, corny, and cuteness. This is worth the watch, I found it enjoyable, there wasn't unnecessary misunderstandings that didn't get solved right away. The two leads have such great chemistry I forgot that I was watching a drama, the secondary characters did their jobs of me either hating them or loving them. If you're looking for something that's easy to watch, and doesn't have any unnecessary drama, cute scenes and scenes that makes you think of classic older kdrama's; this is definitely for you.Was this review helpful to you?

It’s really amazing how a simple story is just too adorable and one of the bests. If you are looking for a kdrama with little drama, a lot of romance, amazing kiss scenes, a strong female protagonist and a charismatic male protagonist, this is it! You need to watch this if you like things fluffy and cute.The female protagonist is really humble and kind but it’s not naive, which is the normality when a character is kind. She always speaks her mind and defends herself but is not arrogant or rude. Really different comparing with most of the female characters.
The male is the same- surprising. We expect some rude dude and we get a cute and generous guy.
The only thing that I would change is the music, really annoying in some scenes, you will understand.
I will rewatch for sure!

Oh please, this was adorable
She would be your typical sweet girl but she is not only that, she is intelligent, confident, witty and funny. He would be your typical mean CEO, but he is actually harsh but genuine, workaholic but a very kind and romantic man. Most importantly they are both extremely mature and their immaturity is only shown during rare moments of jealousy which are actualy portrayed very cutely. I rewatched it because I suddently wanted to see their first kiss once again but I didn't remember ever finishing this drama when it was ongoing. Their chemistry is seriously mind blowing. Now that I rewatched this after some years, now that I am more mature myself, I completely understand why they take certain decisions. I appreciate the witty dialogues so much.I am also completely speechless about how effortlessly sexy the ML is. He generally is that in other dramas too but here he is acting in a full on, properly mature and sensible romance which displays the range of his acting in this genre really well. I am not even fangirling when saying I am so impressed by how charming he is. I can't believe they ad-libbed so many kisses. They looked like a real life couple and sometimes it was so realistic that I felt like I was invading their privacy by listening to them talk ahah I loved loved loveeed how all the misunderstandings are solved immediately.
The ending! Perfect closure for everyone. The title is explained perfectly in the ending. It was a really short and sweet experience
