In this DVD mini-series prequel to "Ultraman Zero: The Revenge of Belial", ZAP SPACY receives a distress call from the planet Cheney. There, they discover that Ultraman Zero has been doing battle with an army of mechanized Ultraman. The two also find a ZAP SPACY crew from an alternate dimension and find out that evil alien scientists are planning to send the army of mecha-Ultraman to all dimensions. Meanwhile, Ultraman Zero begins the battle with his own mecha-clone, Darclops Zero. Edit Translation

This special starring Ultraman Zero was pretty silly and somewhat out of place within Zero’s storyline. At least the visuals are nice, and seeing Zero in action is fun, especially when he fights other Ultras, even if they’re robots. There’s nothing here you’d really miss, unless you’re a die-hard Zero fan. Poorly written, unremarkable villains, and a half-baked ending.
Overall, you can easily skip this one. 👍
