Story: 10/10 I don't watch a lot of detective dramas, but this one was great.
Acting: 10/10 the characters were well-written I think. The main female lead is cute & a bit of an airhead, but that's her character. The male lead did an excellent job on his character too. The side characters were fun to watch.
Music: 9/10 because there are BGMs that made the mysterious scenes shine.
Rewatch value: 10/10 because this drama balanced light-hearted moments, cute fuffy moments, funny moments, & the serious moments really well.
Overall, even if it's an old drama, I think that you should check this drama out. If you like detective stories, comedy, cute fluffy moments, then you'll probably like this drama.

The drama that is in this show is well built, full of twists and turns, creative, and extremely well executed! There are times where this show may seem more comedic than necessary, but it honestly evens out the show as a whole. Instead of making it one large creepy-suspense-thriller, which it definitely had the talent, script, and excellent means to be so.
The amount of comedy in this show's 10 episodes only makes it that much more enjoyable to watch. Some of the comedic "relief", so to speak, in this show is classic to Japanese comdey, and absolutely made this show so superb!
I think if this show was reimagined today that it would become even more amazing. This is definitely not a show to miss!

Addicting crime drama!
'Remote'...I’ll miss you.
This was such a good series. And now that I’ve finished it, I feel like I’ve just left something important behind. I guess I could go ahead and read the manga, which I didn’t know existed before watching the drama, relive the story and characters through a different medium.
Totally addicting, this detective drama grips you, begging you to be involved and follow Ayaki’s missions. Despite the fact each episode is nearly 50 minutes-long – aside from the first episode, which is nearly an hour long – every episode flew by! The cast was a delight, I don’t think there was a single moment I was tired of any character.
I can’t help but love Ayaki and Shingo’s relationship – those two goofballs are perfect for each other. Shingo is such a sweetheart, I can’t… Give this guy a break from that damn phone!
Anyway…
お疲れ様です、氷室警視。
