On the day of the wedding, chaos breaks loose in the city as Yan Xun's plans come to fruition. Wen Yue requests A Chu be assigned to help him guard Cui Wei's palace. Dong Ting leads his army to stop Yan Xun's procession but gets an unexpected surprise from the Xiu Li army. As A Chu tries to escape, Wen Yue tries to convince her that Yan Xun's plans have gone overboard and that she will regret her actions.
