Yuan Chun realizes that Yan Xun is out for revenge, so he implores him to stop rebelling. After telling A Chu to wait for him outside of the city walls, Yan Xun heads to the military academy to massacre the students. Wen Yue arrives to stop him, and Yan Xun allows him this win since his investigation shows that Wen Yue tried to protect him and his family 3 years ago.
