The Legend of the Condor Heroes

Sort of set in the same universe with all the Wuxia and different sects with own fighting styles. Both ML are orphaned since young and both weak until they master different moves from different masters/sects.

Both stories are based in Jiang Hu.
Both have a lot of cool fight scenes.
Both have great characters and cool plot twists.

Just different adaptations of the same famous wuxia novel by Jin Yong (Louis Cha); everyone has their personal favorite version(s). You can really choose any of them, but know this is the first part of the Condor Trilogy and is followed by The Return of the Condor Heroes; that latter is a different story. The third is Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber.

This is the 2017 version of Legend of the Condor Hero's. Funny thing is that Meng Ziyi plays Mu Nian Ci, who is the wife of Mei Chao Feng's disciple Yang Kang in this version.

Another recent Jin Yong adaptation with great martial arts, good casting, a plot about foreign invaders and different sects fighting one another.

They are based on the same novel. If you want to watch this drama I recommend watching The Romance of the Condor heroes first, I loved it, I hope this one is up to it as well.

I absolutely loved this one. Starring amazing actors, this will get you on your heels.

In both of these period dramas the leads travel around their country, and as they are traveling they are taught by different martial art legends. The main difference is the main lead in The Legend of the Condor Heroes is a man, and the main lead in the Legend of Fei is a woman.

Both have the same author and are similiar in style. The production quality in 'The Legend of the Condor Heroes 2017' is way better than that of Ode, yet Ode, unlike LOCH, has no miscasts.

I do not understand why The Legend of the Condor Heros was not recommended und till now. Both series are based on the same Novel and the 2017 version is ( in my humble opinion) far supperior to the 2024 version, allthough I understood the 2024 series with all it's seasons will be conducting the story of all three novels of the condor series and the 2017 version was only conducting the story of the first book of the trilogy.
