I like so much dramas which has a interesting story with mistery in where you need to conect situations and clues and this drama has a lot of of these.Of course is about crimes but no boring conversely you must to pay attention for every clue, every object and dialogs.
I was catch in each episode, also the villian is one of the best that I watch, he is really retailer , smart and powerful. However in some cases I was so frustrated, because he had a big conexion that always won and cover the truth, usually I think "He get away with it".
I like that you cant never predict the situation, a lot of unexpected turnswithout boring legal procedures or long monologes.
I'm sure they really like the drama has a combination of so many things that even touches of humor appear and you will be more fell in love with Ji sung, he is amazing actor and the cute girl catch your heart.

I am not fond on writing reviews and seeing most people doing detailed ones is very satisfying yet I thought I should try putting it in words with no spoilers.Story 10/10
Can you believe this? Story is epic. Honestly I thought the year 2017 will come with great kdramas, many came and many passed by, most of them were awesome but you still wouldn't really think about it too much once you watched. I will tell you, this one is not that type of drama. I thought Mad Dog was the best show of the year (and I have watched A LOT kdramas of this year) but then as waiting for new eps of some shows I rememered seeing this one mentioned in comments since actors here were famous and in other dramas I was watching as well. I can tell you it's rare to keep me on toes the WHOLE FULL EPISODES without giving it short skip trough and here I couldn't lift my hand to do it. I watched this in 24hours as I couldn't stop clicking next episode. Sorry no life but it is THAT WORTH IT. The plot is really mindblowing. Basic things villain, good guy and the true colors of the reality, how it actually is coming around rich and poor, in power and not.
Acting/Cast 10/10
Everyone did so well even children. The Bad guys are great at being jerks and all, and like no complaints. The dorks there are so cute I can't the friendships look so real and makes you feel so warm inside I can't put it in words even. And Ji Sung, he never disappoints NEVER. Kill Me/Heal Me seeing what kind of many different actors he can pull off even crazy type as he did in Secret, I didn't thought I will see him as father figure and here I did and he nailed it. I swear I am not biased, he is THAT good as an actor. And everyone did great.
Music 10/10
I like how it wasn't overfilled with the soundtracks and osts or so. Music made everything look cool and intense, it fit every second in there and wasn't late nor early to play just perfect timing.
Rewatch Value 10/10
Shame on me if I don't rewatch it. I have this bad habit of rewatching my top10 kdramas and guess what. It's on it. So far it is Number one I wonder what drama will be able to race it though.
Overall 10/10
It earned it!? <--even put heart
my review isn't the top one but it is worth it and just don't want to put spoilers as I watched it without reading anything just seeing the cover and that the main actor Ji Sung, knowing that he was on left me with no doubt that it will be at least watchable and it ended up as more than that. Directors and Writters did great job as well I am so blessed. I watched this three months after release so didn't have to wait for new episodes THANK GOD because I was vibrating in excitement by clicking next episode everytime. It felt like I was part of movie and couldn't miss any second.

Extremely Enjoyable
This was an absolutely brilliant and enjoyable series from start to finish. Ji Sung is always fantastic, so it was no surprise how he was the perfect protagonist to root for all the way. Besides his great acting, I have to say, you'll never watch and despise a better antagonist that goes up against him more than Cha Min Ho. Ki Joon makes you hate his character so much, it's a flawless performance. Deeper and deeper into each episode, you really begins to count down how he's finally going to get what's coming to him, some way, some how!!!The rest of the supporting cast clicks together with just the right chemistry, especially Rin Ah. This little girl steals every scene she's in. Absolutely adorable, bringing tears to your eyes with her emotions.
The final episode is everything you can hope for and more. It's 100 percent worth waiting for. All dramas should take a lesson from this one, on how the story is spread out evenly, nothing is rushed and it never gets boring.
Great entertainment!!!

Plot twist after plot twist!
I've experienced more emotions in these last 18 episodes than I've been in a month lolIt feels like the writer is trying to put 3 shows into 1:
It feels like law drama + memory loss + prison break into one lol.
I personally think the prison break is unnecessary and it's kinda not making sense, although I do enjoy it.
I'd rather seeing the evidence being laid out during the trial for Cha Min Ho, althou I also understand why they want to wrap it up clean and neat. I just love watching law show ,I guess lol.
Both child actors are so cute and sweetheart too! Oh, the surprise twist for me is this
Our Optimus Prime LOL. If you've watched him at DOTS, you'll remember how annoying he is. He often is the case in other show too, but FOR ONCE, he is such a great help here
He is funny and helpful and surprisingly loyal. I really like his character here and this is a major character surprise for me. Coz, when I first saw him, I expect him to be the typical bad guy that he is
All the other characters are all very well done too. Touching and satsifsying ending too
I highly recommend this show! Old shows are indeed better, we don't see such great shows these days anymore

- Story (10/10):Defendant have a very good story. Each episode makes you more anxious to know what happened. Why did the main lead lose his memory? Did he kill his wife and daughter? The story is so well done that there is no holes (not that I have realized of course).
- Acting/Cast (10/10):The acting was PERFECT. Everyone who accompanies Jisung knows that he's a great actor so we all knew he would act well. But the surprise comes with the villain and the other characters, they were VERY GOOD. The cast was handpicked and everyone played a great role and acted super good. For a drama with a story as intense as that, the actors needed to keep up with the intensity of the characters, and they did it very well.
- Music (8.0/10):The drama doesn't have an addictive OST but the songs went well with the scenes, particularly with action and suspense scenes, the soundtrack guided them very well.
Rewatch Value (8.5/10):Although you already discover the secrets of the drama, I think he wouldn't lose the grace if you watched more than once because everything is very intense. You will suffer a lot but the story is so good, the actors acted so well that everything will still shock you.
- Overall (10/10):Overall, it was a wonderful story and drama. For those who haven't watched it yet, I SUPER recommend it. Even if you aren't a fan of melodramas like me, take a chance, I guarantee this drama will surprise!

I like it until i have watched it
i like this drama and given 9.5i must admit i don't feel any boredom during this 18 hours
Nice acting i believe everything about all those actors
but here i will only point out what i find odd or disliked
1. FL why she dying to help ML ? why she crying like that when she don't even know him properly
2. what kind of mother forgive her daughter killer like that ? Ji Soo mother is total fictional character here...
i know ML is innocent but how his mother in law trust him this much blindly when her own daughter has died, she is telling her son to forgive which mean she doesn't believe in ML innocence but still want to forgive her daughters killer
how she is showing so much mercy for son in law , while being totally ignorant and insensitive toward her daughter and granddaughter ?
i hated that evil granny for her inhuman act, ha ji mala tea soo yaaaa........just die haimoniya,, old granny dream about her son in law not her daughter, what evil bitch
ep7 ending scene he cant say Tae soo to follow that syngkuu and find ha yeon , then acting like a lunatic
ep 8 started with ML started acting like a Crazy Shamin( i like his AAAAA AAAAA )
at ending ep there is a runaway criminal at a prosecutor's house and police has just stop searching for him since one has proven himself innocent there is no need to find other

Stretched 18 eps, but my attention only lasted 2.
This drama starts with a strong premise — a man framed, stripped of power, and forced to fight back against a system stacked against him. The tension isn’t about unraveling a mystery so much as surviving each crushing blow, with Jeong U clawing toward justice while the villain sits out in plain sight.Ji Sung, as always, is magnetic. His intensity and sheer presence make it easy to root for him. But even his performance is not enough to hook me onto this narrative. I prefer thrillers that keep me guessing, challenging my trust and moral compass, and here the path felt too straightforward. Even the reviews I skimmed through echoed my instincts --- the second half grows repetitive, stretching what could have been a tighter 10‑episode arc into 18.
I can see why others might find this drama compelling — the emotional beats and the battle of wits have their audience. Still, my gut told me this wasn’t going to resonate, so I dropped it rather than push through fatigue. Because nine out of ten time when I ignore it, I regret it. I don't want this to be one of those times.

A relação deles é fantástica! ♥
