Chanachol, recently returned to Thailand after living overseas, signs up for a tour to get back in touch with Thai culture, and finds himself attracted to the tour guide, Mekhala. Mekala is a young carefree lady who is wealthy, charming and lives in a large rural house. There are several problems with the relationship: Chanachol is married, with family, and Mekhala has a mysterious, symbiotic relationship with a deadly cobra, and many of her previous suitors have mysteriously ended up dead. It’s a story about the deep belief that, when a snake grows older, he will develop a conscious, can fall in love, and will protect his beloved at all costs. ~~ Adapted from the novel “Mae Bia” (แม่เบี้ย) by Wanit Jarungkijanan (วาณิช จรุงกิจอนันต์). Reviews
Sleazy movie only objectifying men & women
I watched the movie for Shakrit but it feels like they just took him here for the sake of his star value. A story having uncountable remakes, but it feels like this movie is made only for objectifying men & women, they really did Shakrit dirty by ending his character in the end as if he was useless. It could've been so much impactful if they actually cared to follow the plot and the secrets of Shakrit's character past and unveiling it, but nah all they care is shoving unnecessary sex scenes of irrelevant characters.
