Delicious Destiny

The same concept of Food and romance. Though the plots are quite different. In MIYLIF the ML and FL are childhood friends turned lovers whereas in DD that isn't the case.

Food-based.
But here the ML is a cold,talented chef, and FL is a screenwriter.
They got a good chemistry, a proper enemies-to-lover troop.
Yeah the love triangle in annoying, starting from the 1st ep till very last (i guess only the last 2 ep werent focused on love traingle)
They made some unnecessary plots like FL losing her eyesight for a couple of eps, unnecessary trauma but the love between ML and FL makes you stay till the last.

I believe that Delicious Destiny is a remake of You are the Only One. Both follow similar plots, the main male lead being a chef and female lead being a food "critic". Both also have a character coming from a foreign country to find his father.

Both are similar. A genius chef (ML) and a food show producer/writer/host (FL). The FL does anything and everything for the ML to come to the show and both gradually falls in love with each other.

Both male leads have some kind of relation and position in cooking, DD specialises in Western cuisine and ToF specialises in French cuisine and the female leads have kind of similar roles, DD is a playwright-director whereas ToL is a drama writer. Both male leads and female leads are involved in a cooking show.

FL = spunky, hard-working, lower income with a very sophisticated palate
ML = wealthy, award-winning chef with cold exterior
context = decadent and delicious food!!!! lots of flashbacks

differences: much more manipulative scheming in DD and quirky musical number in TPM
