Both FL get married without love, but in Nothing Gold can stay, FL falls in love with first husband, whereas FL in Girls Fighting Fate is separated from her true love and forced to marry his brother. Close in period, NGCS is very end of the Qing Dynasty, whereas GFF is Republican era, right after the fall of the Qing Dynasty.

Tightly plotted, well acted Sun Li drama with an epic FL v.s. villain showdown and very genuine side characters.

Also, ML also join in political. HOWEVER, thought NGCS is a masterpiece and very very aspiring, it's needed brain power to watch, BIA is simpler.

Complex, strong leading ladies who marry into positions and create impact. Both dramas depict the social and family life during their respective times very well.
