Tsukiko, a high school photography club member, has always felt overshadowed by her beautiful and popular sister, Tomie. When Tomie dies in a tragic accident, Tsukiko is plagued by nightmares. A year later, on Tomie’s 18th birthday, eerie knocks sound at their door, Tomie has returned. While their parents welcome her with open arms, Tsukiko senses something is wrong.
