Yoon Shi Yoon Typecast

I think this is the third drama of Yoon Shi Yoon I've seen where he is typecast as the guy who gets inserted into some people's lives, falls in love with the girl, resists at first, then eventually gives in and takes the girl. This drama is even more similar to FLower Boy Next Door (FBND), in both he somehow gets involved with two people, one with Unrequited Love, tries to help them out, falls for the girl instead, takes him sometime to realize it, finally accepts it and takes the girl. For FBND, it made sense but for this drama it felt kinda forced to me and just wrong. I thought he would eventually get over his feelings and leave the girl for his son, which is the right thing to do, but when I saw the direction they were heading with the story, I felt like I could not watch it anymore. And reading the review pretty much confirms what I suspected. And where I had reached, the story seems to have stalled somehow, some characters have been pushed aside and some plot points have been pushed to the side. I liked Mal Sook's parts, especially with the grandfather and the whole time travel aspect seemed interesting but the whole show stopped being interesting when they tried to ship Hyun Jae and Woo Seung. She clearly implied she liked Ji Hoon too but was only afraid of messing up their friendship since he was all she had as a friend. So I didn't get why he was pushed to the side.

What a mess

So he finds out he is the father and who he had a child with and he barely reacts except for worrying about his genes? Scheming to get the girl his son has been in love with and unconvincingly saying he's trying to help him? Ughh come on. But with all the high scores it's doesn't seem like everyone is as weirded out as I am. I assume it's mainly the ML fans. I thought he was funny at first but then he got annoying. And I do understand we have to suspend reality to enjoy this show but it was harder to do as the series went along. Why would we root for this guy? Did he have any feeling for Bo Hee who is obviously struggling? The Mgr? His own son? Did the love story change throughout the season because it was a jarring change.

I'm a huge Lee Se Young fan but her damsel in distress act got tiresome. What a misuse of a great talent, I'm glad she was able to excel in the Red Sleeve after this debacle. Didn't feel the chemistry with the ML at all. If the creators didn't want her to end up with Ji Hoon, MJ was a much better option that um Ji Hoon's dad. In fact I thought it was a poor decision not to feature MJ and Bona more. They were way more interesting than the ML.

Also really liked Ji Hoon's rap at the showcase early in the season. Why not give him more opportunities? I cared way more about his story than the freeloading, deadbeat partner and dad who also steals the girl he's been in love with for years.

I won't be finishing this as I got to 20, was grossed out about the impending shift and then just read the recaps.

Firstly, I am a Yoon Shi Yoon fan! He is absolutely eye candy in this drama. He is hilarious and cute and i love his acting. I also like all the cast in this drama and i think they did a great job! You can't even think the badder guys are wicked in this drama... so I can't dislike them. The drama starts off really boring and I didn't really get into it until episode 3. But from episode 3 to around 15 or so, it was really cute and funny and you can see the characters building their relationship and the plot unraveling more mysteries. This show has 32 episodes! And somewhere from episode 15 to 27, it is pretty much fillers....  I fast forwarded some episodes because I just really want to know what happens Mr Ddabong... and alllll the fillers in between getting really boring and slow. I think the love story between the main actor and actress is really simple or shallow. The show is funny overall although I think they tried to make the show more funny at the beginning and in the middle it's more romance and slice of life... Then from episode 27 onward, it gets interesting again.  Music-wise, it has a nice theme song, but average at most, and it won't be stuck in your head.  Overall, it's a satisfying drama. The ending was satisfying enough, and I can't get Yoon Shi Yoon out of my mind now, but I won't rewatch this drama because the story is too slow paced for me and the romance isn't that great.

I really enjoyed this drama throughout. Lots and lots of laugh out loud moments from Yoon Shi Yoon's excellent portrayal of the character who travels forward in time and finds himself quite outdated.

The main love line was cute. To me I didn't see that much chemistry but had good dialogue.

I was satisfied by the ending and how the wrap up resolved the time traveling aspect.

Also another thing to note is that there were no villains in the show. The quasi-villain/antagonist in retrospect was quite cute in how he was portrayed.

After watching this show, it made me want to watch more shows about the k-entertainment industry!

Yoon Shi Yoon plays Yoo Hyun Jae, a 1990s top star who travels tot he future (otherwise known as 2017) and ends up entangled with Kim Min Jae's Lee Ji Hoon and his best friend Choi Woo Seung, played by Lee Se Young. Ji Hoon dreams of debuting as an Idol and Woo Seung is masquerading as Ji Hoon at the hagwon to prep to take the civil service exam, since she can't afford the lessons herself. The supporting cast in this drama is just as stellar as the lead actors. Hyun Jae is such a delightful goober, you can't help but root for him. Be prepared for some second lead syndrome (and also to flip flop on who the second lead actually is). Yoon Shi Yoon really embraces the whole fish out of water concept, while still embodying the kind of confidence one would expect from a (former) top star. It is something of a coming of age story, while not being quite like anything else I've watched. It was really endearing. The pacing can be somewhat problematic, and some of the petty machination stuff got a bit draggy, but all in all, this was a rough little gem that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Didn't make it quite to the end of the second (1 hour) episode after being intrigued by the first episode.

I'm not even totally sure why but all the interest I had in any of the characters or the plot had just evaporated by then. Wasn't funny, wasn't intriguing, the time travel culture shock just felt like a missed opportunity, acting was so so. I might have tried another episode on the off chance but the third accidental lip bumping in one episode just killed all interest off for me. Wrist grabbing didn't help either. It all just seemed like too much of a taste of what was to come.

Sabe esse não foi um drama que me convenceu logo de cara e cheguei a abandoná-lo mesmo antes de terminar o primeiro episódio porque achei a introdução meio sem graça e os personagens Ji Hon e Choi Woo Seung chatos ao ponto de não conseguir simpatizar com eles . E já que a minha preguiça de assistir dramas em fansubs é gigantesca resolvi deixar pra lá.

Acho que tudo isso aconteceu porque as coisas demoraram a deslanchar no começo e levou certo tempo para que o protagonista aparecesse na história para me encantar ao ponto de elevar meu interesse em assistir esse drama

Um bom tempo depois, quando o viki finalmente adicionou ele no catálogo, resolvi dar uma segunda chance a ele, e olha eu preciso dizer que foi uma otina decisão. porque realmente curti a experiencia de assistir esse drama.

Na minha segunda tentativa tudo foi diferente, acho que dessa vez eu estava em uma vibe melhor, e isso fez com que meus receios iniciais sobre a história fossem embora logo que comecei a conhecer melhor o protagonista.

O PROTAGONISTA

E diga-se de passagem que protagonista maravilhoso foi esse gente? Como disse esses dias para algumas amigas minhas, já tiveram vários personagens encantadores nos dramas que assisti anteriormente mas esse me ganhou de uma forma que queria protegê-lo de tudo e de todos. Amava sua espontaneidade e sua personalidade tão inocente e carinhosa, amava a forma com que ele estava sempre tentando ajudar as pessoas ao seu redor.

Começo a perceber que tenho uma história de sucesso com esse ator, já que foi a segunda vez que assisti um drama com ele que me fez ter esse tipo de sentimento. Ah, eu nem quero saber de mais nada, depois desse papel, só quero dizer que: "já levei esse oppa para aquele cantinho especial de atores que quero acompanhar o máximo que puder a partir de agora, minha lista de atores favoritos agradece".

Mas voltando ao assunto principal, the best hit é um drama bem leve e descontraído que te faz rir em diversos momentos e em outros aquece seu coração so de acompanhar o crescimento do protagonista.

Por se tratar de uma história com viagem no tempo, eu já estava preparada psicologicamente para que nao tivesse romance ou que se tivesse que o um final dois dois não fosse lá muito bom, mas não é que deram um jeito mirabolante para que tudo isso funcionasse de alguma forma?

OUTROS PERSONAGENS

Demorei um bom tempo para começar a gostar um pouco da personagem: Choi Woo Seung e embora suspeitasse que ela seria o foco de um triangulo amoroso em algum momento, levei um bom tempo para começar a vislumbra esse romance dela com algum dos dois. A parte boa disso é que quando aconteceu tinha quase certeza de que iria acertar no ship e isso foi otimo.

A rainha da vergonha alheia desse drama foi sem duvidas uma personagem chamada: Boo Hee, teve uma cena dela em um programa de TV que vou te contar viu, kkkkk.

Preciso dizer que não consegui superar a minha implicância inicial com o personagem Ji Hoon e fui até o fim, sem gostar dele, sinceramente suas atitudes me irritavam e sua personalidade tambem.

A OST

Eu achei a OST completa desse drama muito alto astral e realmente gostei de todas as músicas desse Kdrama,

Lesaut dans le temps, ça marche toujours pour réparer les erreurs passées !

C’est une très jolie comédie, pleine d’humour, pas idiote, montrant d’une façon légère mais juste les coulisses du monde des idols et leur aspect « jetable ».
Le personnage central va évoluer très agréablement de la tête à claque capricieuse vers l’homme adulte et responsable, ce qui est amusant sachant que ça va quand même être une formation accélérée, nous il nous a fallu 20 ans et lui ce sera en quelques mois ! L’acteur Yoon Si Yoon s’en sort très bien, il abandonne assez vite le côté jeu excessif qui est à mon avis son défaut pour trouver un ton juste et entrer complètement dans son personnage. Le reste de la distributions est excellente, Cha Tae Yoon parfait dans le manager amoureux timide depuis 20 ans, Lee Dos Hwa touchant en vieil homme qui doit accepter sa maladie, l’ensemble est équilibré, et laisse une impression de gaîté douce et chaleureuse. Un très bon drama doudou !

«Hit The Top», aussi appelé «The Best Hit» parle de famille, d’amitiés, d’amour, mais aussi de rêves, de l’importance de ceux-ci, à tout âge. Des difficultés de la vie, et de continuer à essayer d’avancer malgré tout ce qui peut essayer de nous faire tomber. Un drama unique, surprenant même, et prenant, qui n’a pas manqué de me faire sourire et surtout rire, avec des acteurs doués et des personnages tous différents, mais également tous intéressants. Malheureusement, certaines longueurs inutiles sont présentes et ont fait en sorte que j’ai eu du mal à avancer dans mon visionnement par ennui. Ce qui est dommage parce que la base de l’histoire était vraiment originale ! Aussi, mention spéciale pour l’OST qui est tout simplement génial !
