Ghost Writer (2010)

Pou Chung Ling was born into a family of New Year picture painters. Due to a misunderstanding that his father, Pou Pun, was involved in collusion between officials and merchants, he is unwilling to inherit the family business. Chung Ling and his close childhood friend, the upright constable Gou Jit, are like brothers, and they share a hatred for corrupt officials. During an investigation into rumors about a fox spirit, Chung Ling narrowly escapes death, but is fortunately saved by the fox spirit, Lingwu Siu Cheui, who secretly came to repay a debt of gratitude. From then on, Siu Cheui gradually develops feelings for Chung Ling. When the Pou factory begins recruiting female workers, Lau Sam Yu joins the workforce under a false pretense, seeking the heartless man who abandoned her sister years ago. This leads to a fateful meeting with Chung Ling and Jit, sparking a complex, supernatural love quadrangle tangled between humans and immortals, and between love and loyalty.
