TWISTY, SEMI-DARK - unfolds in a very mysterious way
Moments of eeriness, goriness and tension are brilliantly scored and backed by. Performances do stand out here by Kang Ha-Neul and especially Kim Mu-yeol, who takes the most amazing piece of the cake.Forgotten is that film that won’t be easily forgotten and even after the credits roll down, it will stay with you. It has its emotional share and mysterious thrilling part, combined well to land a good thriller on its proper runway. A good mysterious thriller with a pinch of emotional moments to fill your visual kitty.
VERDICT _ The mystery reveals that are enough to hook you around. Yes, the latter half or the third act of the film dips but still provides a fair share of curiosity and the answers to inquisitive questions built in the first half.To conclude, this is a film which succeeds in striking a near-perfect balance between both revelation and suspense.

WOW
When you think you understood, you actually didn't, this is what i simply love in this movie. Is full of mystery and i can tell i got scared and screamed LOL, it's really overwhelming!!But it got pretty sad at the end, when you think at least someone is gonna be okay in the end, they died...i got pretty sad about this but i low key like it, because i felt that it represented how the real life can be
I could feel the shame, the sadness, the falsity, the anger, the guilty, everything.

Trilling experience!! Was an unexpected and pleasant one!
Got me hanging off the edge of my seat. Unexpected plot with amazing actors. Finally got a satisfied watch once again! Storyline was succinct yet had many twist and turns to it! Felt like I was solving a mystery during the entire time I was watching it!Will definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a triller and suspenseful movie! It's one that definitely keeps you off guard! I now have a different perspective of things because of this movie haha! Please watch this I promise it wouldn't let you down!

Great Movie
This movie kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time and kept me intrigued till the very end. I thought I understood what was happening but the writer added such a good plot twist that made everything that much better. I'm not a big romance fan and am always searching for crime/thriller whether it be a k-drama or k-movie and this definitely lived up to my expectations. The theme is important
This film has many layers but underneath it all there's one main central theme that people keep overlooking because all they talk about is the "twists" and change of events. The main theme is that this is a TRAGEDY.Once you see the last scene where you see laughs, smiles, an innocence that abounds in the lake countryside, this was a huge tragedy and once you see know how it ends you can't help but feel bad for them. I know everyone wants to talk about the turn in direction, or how they predicted or did not predict the outcome, above it all is how it ends.

This is a movie you should watch without knowing anything beforehand
9.5 because I was really sad at the end but perfect regardless, I feel like if the ending went any other way it wouldn’t have been as good. Because we know the how important it was to both characters . Still made me feel empty inside like omg..🥲
it was confusing and it had me on edge the whole time, but it was super exciting and the story was really good. I wish I could rewatch it again for the first time.

WHAT DID I JUST WATCH
The story starts out calm when suddenly the atmosphere changes. Just when you through you had figured out the plot, a new twist was added. I loved the many turns the story took, which never created a dull moment. Especially the end took me by surprise. I had to sit in silence as the credits rolled to process what I’d just watched.One of the things I liked the most was the acting between the characters. The development of them and their interactions were very interesting to watch. Normally I would never rewatch a movie but for this I think I’ll definitely have to, to get a different perspective.
10/10 recommend!

I feel like this movie will hit harder once you rewatch it and you know everything thats happening, and you start seeing signs of what the reality really is. Its just so fucked up and mind boggling and leaves you with an empty feeling once you finish it because then you're left wondering...could all of this been avoided and done in a more proper way? Both of their deaths were symbolic but it hurts so much. Both of them never intended on hurting anyone and their fucked up fates just seemed to clash together which breaks my heart for the both of them. I recommend this if you like movies who fuck your mind up a bit...

The plot twist is amazing
I accidently read a very enthusiastic good review about this movie at facebook. Which truly make me curious then, set on " i need to watch this movie" and yes i watched it!!!!!!!! Im really satisfied 100%. I've rewatched almost 5 times. So amazing the acting,and storyline. im finally a fan of kang haneul after watch this movie bcs his versatile acting blowing up here as main lead! Fun fact,when i start watching this , suddenly i feel hesitated because im scared after watching first scene of this movie . It was midnight when i watch this with my sister. This movie make me realize i love suspense and thriller genre. I enjoy romance too, but suspense and thriller is much more better. A Literal Masterpiece.
Let me start off by saying that I have never been more excited about writing a review but I just feel like this movie needs to be seen and appreciated more than anything else. Everything was so beautifully put into place starting from the cast, moving to the plot and of course all the twists and turns that ended up leaving me speechless. This movie is an emotional roller coaster from start to finish for the watcher. Just when I was sure I had solved something, it would end up being something so much more. I really felt the pain of each character and sympathy towards them. Just by watching the trailer I was skeptical as to whether it was worth the watch or not-- let me tell you I regret not watching it sooner because it was SO worth it-- but I believe the trailer doesn't really do justice to the film. I was constantly on the edge of my seat, anticipating and closely watching the captivating story unravelling right in front of my eyes. This movie is all about perspective and not being too quick to judge the characters on what is selectively shown to the viewer, as many things turn out to be a lot different than what they initially seemed. The viewer seems to be the victim since the plot manipulates their feelings and views towards the characters. I can only describe it as a tragedy- one made by each and everyone's choices on how to move forward the moment they came across trouble. For me this was a life- changing experience and I'll be sure to re-watch a thousand more times because its just such a good movie.
