Zong Yue meets the King of Tai Yuan, who recognizes him as the eldest son of the previous heir apparent, Prince Wen Yi. He vows that Wen Yi's bloodline will once again rule Tai Yuan before hastening the King's death. Qi Zhen gains the Water Manipulation technique using Xuan Hui's blood and the bell. The King's death opens the Forever Water reservoir, and Qi Zhen uses his new power to try to stop it from flooding the city. Pei Yuan takes Xiao Qi from Qi Zhen's prison to lure Fu Yao.
