It's a long novel (over 1700 chapters) and there are prolonged descriptions of fight scenes and matches but totally worth reading to get a better understanding of the drama. A lot of details in the novel, especially the tactical strategies and the in-game characters and their special skills or attributes were not well fleshed out in the drama (can't really blame the drama as it is only 40 episodes longs).
