Just a lil rant about the main character :)
So far I'm on episode 7 and the drama is going pretty well BUT there is one character that is annoying and that is Seon Mi. Why? Because she keeps pushing and pulling him. Like honestly he's a fricking monster, his original goal was to eat her, but instead she put that bracelet on him, knowing what the consequences will be when it's put on him. And yet she's annoyed because he likes her uncontrollably? U know I don't support him eating her, but if I were in his shoes and had to be practically locked up again I would be pissed off ngl. Not only that, she literally spends so much time thinking about if he truly likes her or not, tbh partially of his feelings are all fake and she knows it. Oh and she always says something like "stop coming near me and leave" *he leaves* and she's sad... like WHAT? girl u just told him to shut up and leave. AND whenever she goes "fight" a monster, she always goes by herself, like girl what are u gonna do with a yellow kiddy umbrella and beads. Also I know like it's scary to encounter a ghost but for someone who has lived with them for her whole life, I'm surprised she's still scared of them, I mean I've seen plenty of ghosts before but I kinda got used to them. Not only that I feel like she always creates a bubble where everything that's happening is going smoothly, but when someone says a bold honest truth to her, it pops, and she would get sad and question about her whole feelings again.ANYWAYS I'm only episode 7 and I REALLY want to drop this drama, although I really like these type of dramas and how the plot suites my preferences. I'm sorry if anyone got offended or didn't like what I said, honestly this is my opinion on how I feel about it. but yeah thanks for reading up to here. :)

Firstly: the story.
The link between main characters reminded me of Goblin, which If you ask me is a pretty accurate observation. In both those girl is out of luck and out of family (o.0), good-hearted and strong (in a way), while the guy is a super-being, bound to appear whenever his lady calls. Here though the stories go their separate ways. (Obviously I’m not saying there couldn’t be found more similarities).
I must say I enjoyed most of the character in the show and their relationships. The story was a nice balance of humour, drama and bits of horror.
I liked how the reason for Kong’s love wasn’t ignored. Like - we knew it all along, but it was nice that it was reminded every then and again. Also the way the love all-together was treated was very humane. I like that it was perfectly understandable why she felt the way that she did. I think it shows good writing.
I liked that Sun Mi wasn’t just all fragile; a damsel in distress. /I like her more than the Goblin FL (but maybe that’s something about me)/
And though the overalls feelings were rather positive, there are some negatives that I cannot leave out.
Something that really bothered me was the unnaturality. Which may just be the very essence of kdrama, and it’s romcom genre. Something about the theatricality. How come they have so much monologues? It just seems scenic, and kind of pretentious.
Secondly: the music. As such it wasn’t bad. But it’s not just what, but how. And I didn’t appreciate the use of the ‘main song’. The one that must play in every episode, and it must be every slightly maybe romantic situation, so that I, the viewer don’t have a doubt who is supposed to fall for each other.
As for rewatch value i must admit i don’t know. I wouldn’t watch it again, but then again i rarely do rewatch, so I don’t know.
I’m not such If you could make something out of my rambling I just felt as though that my poinys may’ve accure to someone as well.

Got boring really fast
It started as something that could've become an epic story but quickly turned into a lame comedy show and not a good one at that.Most scenes are just busy work and contribute nothing to the main story, just words.
Acting was alright at best, OST is meh, the only redeeming quality is the production.

Plot is important, something the writer/director/whoever doesn't seem to understand but
..... its okay because the main heroine makes up for it, oh wait no she doesn't.
Three episodes in and I'm majorly struggling. To be fair though, I can be kind of picky but this drama was something else. The first episode was fine. Everything after that went downhill so, so fast.
Where is the plot, people? Where???
This drama has no storyline and it has about 3 main characters, one of which I couldn't care less about. The other characters are so much on the peripheral that they literally have one task in the show each, whether that's solely to listen to the main hero (Winter King) complain or to constantly comment on how weird the main heroine is (dude who works for her).
The main heroine is also realy boring, they haven't developed her character at all and it doesn't seem like they will in the next couple episodes either. She's so hung up on main guy protecting her even though in the first ep she was like, I dont need you anymore. When she was a kid, she used her umbrella. 25 years later and she still has that same umbrella and no self defense/ fighting training at all. You can see why im not convinved that if i stick around for more episodes, they'll give her some growth. They couldn't even do that in 25 years.
Plus idk why we'd even root for her. She has no personality apart from wanting to be protected. If you've watched Master's Sun, then you know that the main girl was absolutely terrified of ghosts but she still aways tried her best to help them. The main heroine here does not. Oh i mean sometimes she'll squat next to a ghost of a child and give him popcorn but that's it.
Also, also, the fact that she has no friends/family. Like i get they want to make her pitiable but now she has no personality AND no people around her. She doesn't even seem to sad about it actually, so why should we?
I really like the main dude though. Until they forced him to fall in love in a desperate attempt to have some sort of plot, ugh. And the soundtrack has been awesome. But that's about it.

I feel like I’m going to be disappointed
im obviously not even half way through this drama but I had really high expectations after reading the reviews and seeing its rating . However it took me a week to get to ep 3, not really attention catching in the beginning. My first impression are that the story line is interesting but a bit off; really weird takes and lines, sometimes funny but an example close to the end of episode 3, once you watch is completely cringe and unrealistic (yes it’s fantasy genre but even in this world was unrealistic). Can’t say much yet, but it’s my first review and I really had the urge to post this as I love reviewing stuff but don’t normally get the courage to don so.I’m still giving it a go because I believe in the potential it has since the characters integrate you and capture curiosity. Hope it catches my attention and gets me to finish it.

I abandoned watching this show because the main female lead was just so uninteresting. Her character was too reserved for my liking and she was so emotionless! The first two episodes were really good because of how the main lead was villainous towards the female lead and very ruthless in wanting to eat her to gain power. He also tried manipulating her into suicide by using her loneliness against her so he could eat her. I also liked how the female lead had spunk in the beginning, and the tension between them was so intense. As soon as the main ML got the love bracelet on him which essentially makes him fall in love with the main FL until she removes it (thus preventing him from killing her), he became so dull. The narrative would have been way better had he fell in love with the main FL naturally instead of doing so bc of the love bracelet. Both of them were so dull. The FL was so annoying as she continuously throughout the show she questioned If the ML if he really loved her when it’s obvious his feelings towards her was because of the bracelet. In addition, she was too forgiving of the ML. GIRL HE MADE SAUCES TO EAT YOU. Not only that, but she is apparently the CEO which is not believable as her history of seeing ghosts prevented her from functioning in real life and so I failed to believe how she attained that position of power. Also she is constantly chasing after ghosts, so how does she have the time to run a company??? She also had one employee, that’s it
The FL ruined the show for me. She was just too lifeless. My favorite characters were the side ones especially the devil king, his assistant and Richie. But it wasn’t enough for me to continue sadly.

Mi è piaciuta l’interpretazione dell’attore protagonista, un po’ meno quello dell’attrice protagonista, totalmente oscurata dal protagonista. La storia di Woo Ma Wang è davvero molto romantica e molto bella, tanto quanto quella dei protagonisti. Anche il personaggio dello zombie è molto carino. Gli effetti speciali lasciano un po’ a desiderare, mentre i luoghi scelti per girare, tipo la libreria e la grotta sono belli e romantici. Si perde un po’ nel finale ma quando, negli ultimi 5 minuti, Son Oh Gong gli regala il suo occhio rosso per ritrovarla, ovunque sia, scusatemi ma è stato top!!!! Was this review helpful to you?
El elenco es grandioso
HistoriaMe encantó todo el tema de sobrenatural y fantasía. La historia estuvo bien, me gusto (gracias al grandioso elenco) pero no la ame. No me llegaron al corazón sus historias de amor a través del tiempo y el destino. Tomaban decisiones para avanzar la trama cuando se podía hablar. Al menos avisar. (Varios capítulos fueron asi)
Pero aún así quería seguir hasta el final, a pesar de que lo que se avecinaba y me venían avisando por tantos capítulos anteriores. Tuvo un final abierto que no alimenta demasiado mí corazón, pero peor es nada.
Actuación/elenco
Los actores todos increíbles. Destaco al mono, el toro y el zombie (en modo zombie). Y el ayudante de la protagonista. La protagonista no me gusto mucho, no me gusto su personaje demasiado rígido. Así que su historia de amor no fue grandiosa para mí (necesitaba más amor) u otra pareja.
Musica
Me gusto una cancion en especial que su primera vez salió en los primeros episodios.

Recomendada. Mirala cuántas veces quiera. (Por mí, con una vez basta)

Drama fantasy davvero bello.
L'ho rimandato visto che sapevo un po' che non sarebbe stato un drama leggero ma ho fatto male perché è il tipico drama che adoro.Fantasy che più fantasy non si può,demoni, esseri superiori, spiriti malvagi, dei ,zombie etc in un intreccio con il mondo umano.Poi ovviamente non può mancare l'amore quello impossibile ma grande e qui supera l'inimmaginabile.Ci sono anche le risate quelle di gusto, un poco di bromance alla "goblin" che fa molto ridere.
I protagonisti bravissimi,pure quelli in secondo piano hanno il loro spazio nella storia.Ci sono baci quelli veri che tolgono il fiato.
Già dal inizio fa presagire un finale non roseo e così é ma non l'ho visto come una mancanza ma una conclusione giusta per tutta la storia.
Sarà anche vecchiotto come drama ma è davvero bello e merita di essere visto.

Ha assolutamente dei difetti questo drama, ma non riesco a non dargli un punteggio alto. Sinceramente al momento è la mia serie coreana più bella vista in assoluto, e nonostante il finale mi preoccupasse (mentre lo guardavo girando vari forum mi sono "spoilerata" il fatto che il finale non fosse proprio il classico happy ending) quando l'ho visto in realtà mi ha soddisfatta, in quanto rispecchia perfettamente il "mood" (passatemi il termine) del drama. È un finale si aperto, ma sappiamo tutti che il Grande Saggio pari del cielo la ritroverà sicuramente, è impossibile pensare il contrario. In più, se Sam-Jang fosse effettivamente sopravvissuta sarebbe comunque rimasta un'umana che avrebbe continuato il corso della sua vita si assieme a Son Oh Gong, ma prima o poi sarebbe morta, e sarebbe comunque stato un finale dolce-amaro. Invece donandole un suo occhio e promettendo di andarla a riprenderla nell'oltretomba da al finale qualcosa di epico in linea perfettamente con la storyline che ci è stata proposta, per cui si, posso ritenermi soddisfatta.Che cosa invece non mi è piaciuto?
In primis alcune animazioni erano veramente inguardabili. Anzi, quasi tutte. Quel drago era veramente agghiacciante.
La scena in cui Son oh Gong si toglie il bracciale è animata veramente male, ma vabbè lasciamo stare altrimenti inizio ad elencare ogni minima scena animata.
Parliamo di Sam-jang. All'inizio ci viene mostrata una donna che si ha sofferto molto per colpa del suo destino di salvatrice, ma cavoli, ci viene anche presentata come una donna forte! Perché nel corso degli episodi si rimbambisce sempre di più? Meritava sicuramente una caratterizzazione migliore, cosa che la maggior parte dei personaggi hanno avuto, addirittura alcuni personaggi secondari risultano più interessanti di lei.
Per quanto riguarda l'interpretazione di Lee seung gi nulla da dire se non che lui è stato il motivo principale per cui ho iniziato questo drama, il suo personaggio mi ha conquistata sin dal trailer e la sua recitazione è stata veramente ottima, in più in coppia con cha Seung Won forma una delle più belle bromance da me viste
Se le ost di questo drama vi portano dipendenza non preoccupatevi, è tutto normale
