Yoon Eun Hye is one of my favorite Korean actresses. This drama starting out well. I will give any drama she is in a try. Moved at a great pace. It did not have that same K-romance theme love triangle and their love grew pretty quick. With that said, this drama should have been 8 episodes instead of 15. Most of it was bad filler with no meaning and unanswered questions about some of the other characters. The acting was great in my opinion and the story was good but the execution falls short. There were way too many flashbacks in this drama. Was this review helpful to you?

I enjoyed the start but while the story went on, it started to become a really bad and ridiculous makjang. I mean, you can create really evil people who make you pull out your hair or want to pull out theirs and STILL respect them as well written characters. And then there are these people here who provoke the same reactions but their actions are just way over the top (and I actually liked the evil female second lead at first).
There's also the thing with story development. People argue and promise and threaten to do and/or say/reveal things, but right after that the story seems to completely forget about that and only remembers to mention it like 4 episodes later - and still without results. In the second half NOTHING actually happens, there's no progress at all.
At the end most of the bad guys have a sudden change of heart and start to act out of character. And everything is a happy ever after. The worst thing though were the bad dialogues in the last episodes. Every conversation sounded like a cliché advise for life, the cheesy ones that make you roll your eyes. And they didn't feel like conversations between close friends or family either. More like interviews between the actors. As if they've totally forgotten about their characters.
The last episode was the biggest waste of time. It went from one conversation to another without anything happening, except for that last incident which was nonsense and totally unnecessary.
I wish they would have shown more about the public reaction in the second half. They almost completely forgot about it, even though they made it a big point in the beginning. I wanted to see how the public's view changed throughout the drama.
Most of the BG music was kinda annoying at times as well. It constantly reminded me of Final Fantasy (the game) whenever you have to run through the fields to hunt monsters or visit villages (I don't get annoyed by that in the game, but it was unnerving in the drama).
BUT special points for Chun Jung Myung's cutesy in this one. He surprised me quite well.
And there was one really nice song.

This is my first time to write a review and It's a very good drama to watch ????????
The drama is something that make your heart flutter (from the title itself????) the cast, the music and mostly the story I like how the story starts till how it ends (a perfect closure w/ wedding event with his and her family attending????) I already watch similar dramas like this wherein there is that either a guy or a girl who is connected to a rich family etc. But the drama plays it perfectly and just like what I said earlier the last episode clears all the misunderstanding and conflict of the story (although I feel sad and pity for Kang hye Jo fate ????) but overall the drama is wortg watching over and over again if you want a drama that makes you forget all yoir worries for a moment then I would highy recommend this drama for you????????????????Was this review helpful to you?

Not super deep or dramatic, but that’s exactly what makes it so easy to enjoy!
I rewatched this recently ( May 3, 2025) and came back to edit my review... Sometimes you just want something light, flirty, and fun... this one totally delivers. So the setup is classic K-drama gold: a famous actress (Yoon Yoo-jung) and a well-known doctor (Cha Woo-hyun) fake a relationship to shut down rumors… but surprise! Feelings start creeping in. Yes, it’s a fake dating trope and yes, it’s delightful.
What makes this one work is the chemistry between the leads. Yoo-jung is glamorous but not stuck-up, and you actually see her vulnerable side. Woo-hyun is charming, emotionally guarded, but not in a cold way, more like someone who’s just not used to letting people in. Watching them slowly break down each other’s walls is honestly the best part.
It’s not super fast-paced or full of crazy twists, it leans into the softer, more heart-eyes moments. Lots of little gestures, misread feelings, and that slow build-up of “oh no wait... I actually like you.” 🥲
My only dislikes:
I would have enjoyed this more if the leads would have had more chemistry together in the skin-ship department. The ML felt stiff and unsure whether to have skin-ship with the FL throughout the whole drama. On a scale of 1 to 10, the chemistry was a 6 for me.
Also, I feel like the whole revenge plot from the SFL droned on for far too long and this drama could have easily been summed up much sooner.
However, the FL was always lovely as I remembered from her acting days in Princess Hours & Coffee Prince. She did an excellent job at portraying her role! The side characters did a great job too and I particularly liked her brother. He was just adorable!
If you’re in the mood for something easygoing, romantic, and sweet without being too cheesy, Love Alert is a great pick. It’s the kind of drama you can relax with, root for the couple, and maybe even rewatch just for the comfort of it.
Overall, this is a solid 8 and I would say give it a watch!

first of all even the story was repeated but it was new and nice this drama wasn't bad as the harsh reviews said but it had 2 main points that made it under rated
first the production .. reducing the cost starting from fashion till the make-up and scenes
second the directing which made this drama got injustice
i enjoyed the drama till ep 13 then the romance goes down the hill as if they forgot all about it
due to the poor production
the make-up was extremely awful showing the defects of all the actors faces
and the out scenes was really poor
and most of the actors weren't good really even the old ones
the good actors you can count down them on one hand
due to the directing
the shots and lights were really bad
and when they show a product for the sponsors during the drama the director made it in a very unprofessional way
the best role goes to kang hye joo although she had no face expression and emotionless literally
Chun Jung Myung i really love him as an actor but his role was really depressing
the director most of the time failed to deliver the right feeling
like when he should be panic when Yoon Eun Hye trapped in fire
i got the feeling that he was watching as if he is in front of tv news not having a phobia
and when he was obliged to leave her i saw him helpless instead of being sad or broken
and when he should making her feel secure he left her without a single msg to explain or secure her
and many other reaction that was really weird
all what he is doing against hye joo
just saying.... please hye joo STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING .. REALLY !!!!!!! :/
and what that end ????? PLEAAASE T_T :\
what the hell!!!
you didn't see her for a whole year how could u act as if u just saw her from 5 min. ago ?????
and what that silly , incomplete side story for yoo joon and min ah ???
really the directing was a whole rubbish >_<
due to it the drama really failed :(

I've watched episodes 1-8 already and so far it was quite impressive. As always YEH's acting is really amazing and to rest of the cast except for the leading man. LOL. Honestly, her chemistry with Mr. CJM isn't good enough yet. I still could sense the awkwardness in him?I mean they have passed the fake relationship right? Am i right? haha. They are now in real couple level. Like in the story in episode 8 they were like getting back together despite the news that they have already split up as a couple but in the end they choose to secretly love and support each other. However, i need more spark and more intense feelings between them just like what i felt with YEH'S past dramas leading men.(e.g. Goong, coffee prince, missing you,and my fair lady). On the other hand i'd still like to give my perfect rating in this drama and besides i haven't watched the other episodes yet so I'm really looking forward to seeing it. And i just hope Mr CJM will do his best! Not only for him but for everyone. Fighting! God bless this drama. BACK CLAP TO THE HATERS! Was this review helpful to you?

ACTUAL REVIEW starts here:
First of all the leads: She is great, will always be but this role isn t really for her. Not because she can t handle it, because she is too good for it and the role has nothing to offer. The guy? Never heard of him, so I don t really understand why is he the one acting next to Eun Hye. I don.t hate him, I found him quite cute, could have been worse. The other characters are poorly developed as well and are played by unexperienced actors (in my opinion, I might be very wrong on this one). And I don t have a problem with an actor starting out, because they need to get that experience from somewhere but there are too many new actors so the drama looks stupid.
The dialogue is really poorly structured, the story is not well thought through,I didn t even realise there was even music in the backgroud (so that sucks too).
The worst part? It is very boring. I can say I know many other stupid dramas. But none like this one. I can say You re beautiful or Secret garden which are so old and actually a little cringe to watch now are still better. And there s a gap of at least 6 years (i think) between them. Oh, and I am still excited about rewatching those two, no matter how cringey.
So yeah, even though it breaks my heart, don t watch it even if you re dying of boredom..

The first six to seven episodes were really entertaining, and it will hook you to watch this fluffy drama, but the latter parts of the show really bore me no matter how impressive and promising the start was, and no matter how much i like the actors in this drama. It would have been better for me if they'd cut this to 10 or 12 episodes instead, because it truly felt like a forced and dry makjang drama to me by the latter parts to just add some more plot to the story.
However, I must say the actors were really good in executing their roles, the only real problem was the bad writing and story plotting for this drama. The evil character was really good at expressing and acting out her frustration. She really looked mean, it just lacked the powerful scenario. The writer decided to just remove her into the story, without a really strong exit.
I must say the casting was great, the outfits/ fashion in this drama was really good, and OSTs are very nice to listen to, that its just sad that the plot line and the story build up has gone to waste.
