Mamia (1994)

This is a true story taken in up north Thailand. Jao-noy was the son of a royal family and he had to go to Burma to study. When he got there he saw Mamia, who was the daughter of a merchant that works at the market selling tobacco products. Jao-noy first saw Mamia at the market and it was love at first sight for both of them. Soon after they begin a relationship. But eventually Jao-noy had to come home and his parents would not accept Mamia since Burma and Thai can't marry. Edit Translation
