They share the same director and theres possibly a just friends refrence in made on the rooftop (the male lead says his landlord only likes him so much because he reminds her of her son whos in the military).

Same director made the two movies in the same spirit. If you like one of them you will like the other one aswell.

As soon REC started I relived Just Friends which was released 2 years prior. I have seen Just Friends a very long time ago. Both stories are about 2 men in love sharing a secret relationship. Both movies are short and very compelling. Both of a bite of sexual contents and moments of beautiful intimacy.

in the Shounen ai section. The couple is cute. Good character development.

Just Friends is a short(25min) movie about two guys in love and hiding it from one's mother who goes ballistic when she finds out though she calms down in the end. There are some scenes that are exactly the same. The director must have seen Just friends...
