Kamen Rider Decade

This was actually the first Kamen Rider that I've ever seen but after watching other Kamen Rider series, I can tell you that this one is by far the best.

What sets this KR apart from the others is the fact that it features loads of different Riders rather than just one. The way that Decade interacts with the other Riders and the problems in those Riders' worlds is great and makes for a lot of variety.

(This KR has 2 songs by Gackt so you know it must be good haha!)

The story starts off great and stays great throughout until the very end. I thought that the ending was good but at times it felt like the writers were running out of ideas.

Anyway, I would say that this KR is great for KR newbies. Since it has all the characters from Heisei, it gives you a taste of what the other Kamen Riders are like and you can see which other KR series you might be interested.
=NOTE= The actors playing the different characters (e.g. Kiva or Kuuga) may not be the same actors as in their original standalone series. Some of them are the same but a lot of them aren't so you'll still have to watch those original series to get a feel for the main cast and see if you really like it.

Anyway! Kamen Rider is very much targeted at children (we all knew that) but I (20 years old at the time) still thoroughly enjoyed it!

Having just sat through this for the first time and being a toku fan who got into Rider several years after it aired, I gotta say that this was a fascinating experience. So much of this is just testing out rougher versions of concepts that would go on to be fully explored in later rider shows and the whole plot of the show is literally "all the old art assets of the franchise are being screwed up, so let's play around with them some more!" and that can be a lot of fun, especially if you don't already know a lot about Rider. But as a long time fan I can imagine the fact that most of the worlds have next to nothing to do with the show they're based on got really annoying and the way the over arcing plot plays out is probably one of the most frustratingly beautiful trolls I have ever seen. The cast are clearly doing the best they can with the clusterfuck they're given though and the score is one of the best I've heard in a while. Overall I really enjoyed finally getting to see Decade's show after having only experienced him through is later appearances for so long but this is not a show I would recommend people go seek out and watch on it's own, that ending alone requires you to go watch another movie to get the rest of the story and I'm not really down with that kinda stuff. Plus, if you don't know the reputation Decade the character and his actor have earned over the years a lot of the actual story here is just gonna annoy you so while I had a good time, I'd feel bad if I gave it anything higher then a 4 out of 10.

Decade was the first KR show that I had watched, it was so interesting for me that I finished the series within few days, but sadly the series was short & story didn't conclude properly, one have to watch the movies to continue the story, but that makes it more confusing in the sense so many questions still remain unanswered, it was a weird choice, the series could have been done better if it was done well it could have been great like Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger. Both are anniversary series with a central character/team who can transform into, or use the powers of, past heroes from their respective franchises & feature the main characters journeying through a multiverse of past heroes to achieve a specific goal, and they share the common theme of celebrating previous generations of heroes.
For me Kamen Rider Decade is better than Kamen Rider Zi-O but sadly Zi-O gets proper ending and more episodes than Decade, even without proper ending and other issues Decade is still better than many Heisei Era KR shows that had more episodes but test viewer patience i.e. the start is great then it drags, then around last few episodes things get interesting but for some even the last part is tiring, since I am not a hardcore tokusatsu fan who watch this series like any normal TV series so what I like may not be same for the fans of the series etc.
