Best drama of 2023.
A truly gripping drama, unlike any I’ve watched before.*Spoilers ahead!*
I found the two fathers, Jang Joo Won (played by Ryu Seung Ryong) and Lee Jae Man (played by Kim Sung Kyun) stories particularity touching. And their characters were so well played by the actors!
For example how Joo Won is portrayed as ridiculously strong and self healing, but would break down and burst into tears around his partner. So watching him walk around alone and sob after she passed was heart breaking to watch.
Also the look on Jae Man’s face when he saw how his son Kang Hoon was laying on the floor.
Each episode felt like a movie, the scenery and music that accompanied the past and present made all the difference.
I do wish each episode was longer than 40/45mins or there were more episodes, as I found too much time was used on some characters like the school custodian and Ki Soo.
I know this is based on a web toon, but I would’ve loved to see a reunion between Joo Won and Doo Shik. And just more of what happened after the final battle.
But overall, a must watch! And the ending suggests another season! I’m so interested to see what happens with the kid who could stop time!

Moving Story of "Monsters"
Moving is a remarkable drama that lives up to all the hype and praise it receives. It captivates viewers with their skillfully crafted stories, well-developed characters, and engaging dynamics. While its genre may not be entirely unique to some, it manages to infuse its own twist to keep things fresh and relatable. Its standout feature for me is its careful attention to each character and how they're interconnected. We get a look into their lives and understand their perspectives as they face challenges and still keep moving on. The story refrains from fixating solely on their superpowers that gives them the title "monster" and instead portraying them as authentic, relatable individuals. The depiction of family dynamics is especially beautifully written, making it impossible to choose favourites. It's absolutely amazing to watch non-toxic parent - child relationships. I'm delighted that the final episodes did justice to these dynamics.
They also have an amazing ability to convey a clear message. There are so many inspiring and motivating dialogues that lives up to the name of the drama.
As for the acting, it's evident that the casting was done with great care, as the talented actors seamlessly embody their characters, adding to the show's overall excellence.
While I waited for the final eps' week to catch up, I didn't even notice how soon the 20 episodes ended. There wasn't any second that was draggy. Each part was there for a reason and kept the audience interested. Thus, if there is a season 2 or spin-off, I'm looking forward to it.

Absolutely amazing
i was hesitant to watch it, because i hadn't heard much about it. But it was charting high. and its charting for a reason, its like an onion, you get new information by every layer and find out that things are connected on a twisted way. if you like dark, supernatural tv shows, then this is it. its dark, it has romance, it has mystery, and it has screwed up stuff. This tv show is like a drug you cant get enough. And I cant wait to watch the last 5 episodes, and hopefully they wornt change my review as it is now.

Balance In All Thing
I was pretty hyped when this was announced and it doesnt disappoint. I waited for the last ep to binge it and i finished the whole 20 eps in the weekend (lol). Probably best webtoon/manhwa adaptation ive seen so far.I love how they portray their struggle for basic daily life because of their power, not just the glorious and convenience aspect of having superpower. The actions scene are also neat but whats even more important is that they dont forget the character's dynamic and plot like most action story do. My favourite is Bongseok and Heesoo relationship, its *chef's kiss*, tho their parent's arent any less interesting either. All in all, story is pretty neat and tight, probably help that the source material isnt that long either.
Oh last but not least, flashback was so long it remind me of Turn Back the Pendulum (lol). Its nice tho hahaha

A fresh take on superpowers genre, K-Drama style
Moving, a South Korean drama about superpowered teens and the superpowered parents trying to protect them, became Disney's most-watched K-drama of all time. For the past few years, Korean dramas have extensively diversified their genres and viewership, moving beyond the tag of romantic comedies to producing some of the best thrillers, zombie or otherwise! Moreover, they have ventured into genres like dystopia, science-fiction, and now, superheroes! Needless to mention, Moving brings a fresh new entry to K-Drama with its superhero storyline with some family drama. The show is extremely engaging with the pacing, storyline, action sequences, themes, and the performance of the cast and character relations. Moving is a great concoction of fantasy, mystery, thriller, action, and of course, a romcom, the characteristic feature of Kdramas. Moreover, it features the themes of bullying but now from the perspective of the silent observer and ethical questions that accompany the cost of a lost childhood when children are sold into becoming weapons of the state or in a simpler sense, sold into labor.
In a nutshell, Moving is, hands down, one of the most engaging and unique Kdramas released in 2023 and it would be a shame not to give it a chance with its interesting story, pacing, interesting characters, and the numerous mysteries unveiling themselves.
My Rating : 9.5/10

Definitely recommend this one!
Alright so I will be honest - first of all I started watching this because I ran out of things to watch, so I wasn't interested in this from the start. To be even more honest - I almost dropped this, as I was watching the first episode I felt a bit bored and thought to myself 'oh no, another drama that will focus only on romance' not to mention that I usually don't watch dramas with superpowers included. But once I started watching the second ep, I got more and more hooked honestly. I'm very glad that I didn't drop it.Personally I think some of the background stories of the parents were a bit unnecessary, I wasn't that interested in everyones story aside from the main couple and juwon. I must say that from the parents/adults my favorite character is definitely juwon. He went through so much pain (literally, but also emotionally) and I'm sure if I was in his shoes I would have given up, but he is such a strong character with good intentions and just.. Wow. I still feel sorry for everything he went through but it made him stronger. His story was the one that touched me the most. Definitely one of my favorite characters of all times in kdrama.
From the students I definitely like bongsok, but the female lead as well! Both of them seem like genuinely nice kids and so love able characters. I just wish the fl would have had more scenes at the end when.. You know THAT happened.
[SPOILERS ALERT]
The only thing I disliked was that the guy with missing finger (forgot his name) had to die in the end. I completely understand his point of view, that he felt guilty for surviving as only one as everyone else was executed, that he had to go there with his comrades. It just made me cry because he clearly didn't hurt anyone even though he could have and he could have started a new life there too, of course I'm also somewhat sad about his friends since they showed their backstory too that they aren't just evil villains but humans too who were forced to do this in order to survive and/or protect their family. They all had no choice, though they wanted to kill the innocent children so I don't feel that sad for them as for the guy I already mentioned.
This kdrama made me feel so many different emotions and that's just good story writing right here, whether you like the end or not. The dynamics and chemistry between all those characters and the acting itself was spot on, so I truly recommend this - watch it, give it a try, it's worth it!

Kdrama of te Year 2023
Moving is the best Kdrama of this year probably the decade. With 3x the budget of Squid Game, Challenging VFX & very hardcore action sequences, this show has surpassed expectations.Episode 8-9 were pretty nostalgic & delicately romantic & one of the best thing about this drama. It shows how humane can Superheros be, a handicapped Superhero, Dying Superheros, Romantic Superheros, Kid Superheros, forced to be Superheros, Useless Superheros - It's a one of its kind drama that every Marvel & DC fan should watch.
Brilliantly acted by everyone. Some scenes are quite lengthy but overall the show is worth it.

2023 BEST KDRAMA
drama series that is perfect in terms of story, actors and actresses who are amazingly cool and supporting roles that are no less cool than the main character of the story that is very touching makes me pity and sad at the same time every detail really amazes me and wonders why there is a story as good as this? good shooting moving so far is still in the best drama airing in 2023 and maybe the best in my opinion this drama in terms of casting the main and supporting players is no joke they are all involved in this story I am very amazed and the best in editing and cool visual effects this drama should win a lot of trophies at the annual best drama event and deserves it.I don't really expect there to be a season 2 but so far the ending is enough for me.
All of them should watch moving because there is no loss to watch it
I don't know if the writer will make moving season 2? We will never know
Even if there is a season 2, hopefully the formation of the players will not change.
Maybe if it changes it's a little awkward but it's okay, I'll enjoy it.
