Jiang Wu stops by to tell Zhao Yao she is his. The Captain continues to evade guards. Zhao Yao explodes into fireworks again, causing Li Chen Lan to worry. Li Chen Lan realizes he can go to the Land of Rest/Sojourn. They find out the Empty pill may end in her real death, the 5th time she explodes into fireworks. Li Chen Lan gives the owner no choice but to find a cure for the pill. Zhao Yao complains, about it being unfair, when she finds out Li Chen Lan is very rich in spiritual currency used in the Land of Rest. Li Chen Lan is upset when he finds out Zhao Yao is technically married. He orders sect members to do good deeds in her name, so she can pay her debt and get divorced. Zhi Yan teaches sect members how to do good deeds. Qian Xian's reputation is tainted, and his followers ask that he returns to their sect. Lord Jin Xiu colludes with Jiang Wu and decides to try to oust Qian Xian, from his position, in Thousand Dust Pavilion. As insurance, Jiang Wu kidnaps Tang Yun. Xu Zong sect leader recalls the secrets of his sect. Ming Xuan follows him.
