Acting was top notch but the plot could be improve

First of all, its Lee Je Hoon and Chae Soo Bin so you would have expect a top notch acting. The chemistry between both of the ML and FL is good imo. They really carry the show from episode 1 till the end. I almost drop this drama from the first two episodes cause I dont like how Han Yeo Reum character, I found that she is not understandable and has no care of other. But Lee Seo Yeon keep me tied up. Im curious on Lee Seo Yeon back story so thats why I stay.

Some note on other character, I found that there is not much SLS in this drama. Rowoon character, Go Eun Seob didnt really bring much spices or turbulence to the ML and FL love story. To sum up, Im okay if the character is not there imo. The only notable characters in this drama other than ML and FL are Oh Dae Gi and Na Yeong Ju. I found myself waiting and anticipating for their love story to develop. I could relate so much to Na Yeong Ju, its like seeing myself in a mirror.

The story is pretty much good at first and keep me interested as I have never watch any drama portraying the work life in airport. so I could say that is a fresh story line for me. Im hoping to see more of how they operate the airport without unnecessary gangster storyline(?) that one thing im confused. The gangster and the brother story line didnt bring anything to the story for me. There is so much loophole in this area.

The ending. omg im confused.

good drama not that bad

if you're looking for drama to change your mood, with simple story this one is for you.
the drama started very well. from episode 13 the drama started to get boring .
it was a good drama, i got really emotional whenever Soo-yeon cries or talk about that he wants to live a normal life. yeo-reum personality was cute and ambitious girl although she get into my nerve sometimes.
my fav characters in the drama were Dae Ki and Yeong Joo they were so cute. that's it

Great drama! Where Stars Land is a series that presents the lives of workers at Incheon Airport and conflicts with passengers and coworkers as well as the romance that ensues between Han Yeo Reum and Lee Soo Yeon. There is mystery, action, airport related conflicts, and romance. Apart from having a good storyline and great actors, the lead couple, Lee Je Hoon (as Lee Soo Yeon) and Chae Soo Bin (as Han Yeo Reum), has great chemistry. The story is interesting and Lee Je Hoon rendered his character brilliantly! Although it has a happy ending that could’ve been better, the drama is a really entertaining. Enjoy it!

Hmmm... I found this drama cute by mehhh. For me it had a lot of potential but somehow it didn't work out. I'm not really sure why though.

It was interesting to have a drama wherein the setup was the airport. I mean, it was nice to see a change in setting since in dramaland they usually have it in offices, schools, hospitals, etc. It made me also reminisce the pre-pandemic times, wherein it was really easy to travel :( But honestly, I found it weird that they didn't really optimize the work setting of the drama. I think the only jobs the leads got where transfer the transbarriers and always check for illegal banners lol. Yeah I know they also handled different things but come on, the writers could have used their jobs to improve on the plot.

The thing that I really loved about this drama are the characters. I don't know but I found them really interesting. I could have watched a whole episode of back stories for each character and I wouldn't really mind. Especially the 2 second leads, they are so cute together :"> Also, this is the drama that made me appreciate Rowoon hahaha I don't know why but before I just find him meh but in this one he was really good. I love the 2 male leads also. I think the only character i didn't like is Seo Inwoo. I just found him really annoying. It's like do you care about your brother and father or nah? If by pretending you are mad at the world is how you protect them then why was he acting like an ass during the beginning until more than half way of drama??? Like make up your mind bruh.

Anyway, those are my two cents for now. Unto the next one.

Underrated

First of all I enjoyed the drama very much. Almost every minute of it. I think this is a very underrated drama compared to some overhyped garbage out there. That being said plot-wise this drama was all over the place. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a bad plot per se. It's just the fact that it seemed like they over dramatized simple matters to make a drama out of it. Truth be told even after finishing the drama I still don't understand why things happened the way they happened.

This drama could've been a very very good one with a little bit more work and time given to it, as the drama had too many elements to it and a lot of them got a rushed conclusion to them. And sometimes they made characters do things that logically didn't make sense for those characters to do just to progress the drama. To me it seemed like they made simple matters complicated instead of coming up with a good idea.

If you are looking for a deep plot, then this isn't it. If you want to enjoy the moments as they are at that moment and watch a very cute and sweet drama, with little bit of action (very little, but satisfying), lots of office romance (lots and lots of them) in an airport then you are in the right place. The acting was top-notch. The feels were there. The music was good.

Overall I would recommend this drama who enjoys cute rom-com drama with a good flow regardless the flimsy plot. It was fun.

This was a pretty cute story... Chae Soo Bin was very good just like she was in her last 3 Kdramas. Lee Je Hoon was also awesome. I loved him in "Signal". This is my 2nd Kdrama that LJH was in so now I need to watch more of him. I loved the storyline and hopefully, science (COVID19 is taking us out) in the future will have this type of equipment for the disabled. I loved the ending and didn't love the ending... They just showed a back of a male actor for LJH, for me that was telling me that wasn't LJH so that ending spoiled it for me.

Well when this started I actually loved it a lot. The cinematography was simply pretty and the whole aspect of airport workers was really interesting. The premise too did seem very novel but unfortunately I do not know why but the drama fell short. After the climax I couldn't really start liking it that much. The last few episodes for me was really a drag. I pretty much fast forwarded the last two. I completely lost interest. The one thing that kept me watching till the end was RoWoon. His beautiful face kept me happy the last 2 episodes.
At least now I've become a Fantasy after this (SF9 fan-club member XD)

Delightful slice of airport Love with suspense

This was surprisingly amazing to watch and completely bingeable for me. The concept was fresh, the love was through the roof. And it was so generous with a couple of scenes. They were just doing their jobs while silently loving each other. You fall for both characters and the extras as you get to know a bit about everyone. It feels like a cross between a slow-burn office romance and Are You Human Too?

LIKES
-his sweet nature and silent devotion to her are just so cute.
-his performance as a weird cyborg who wants to be normal was awesome.
-The OST was surprisingly so good.
-I'm all the way to episode 5(aka ep 10) in one go and I have not been bored for a second.
-love the slow reveal of their stories and the subplots that came along.
-The subplots never overshadowed their love. from 1 to 10 The balance was beautiful because they did everything together while slowly loving each other and learning lessons
-how forward he was, no games just confessions
-Their chemistry was insane. So good.
-Their love was way deeper than I expected
-There were tons of rewarding romantic scenes, and it made the wait feel worth it.

DISLIKES (SPOILER ish)
-Around episode 10 (aka19) or so, I started to skip because I was so invested in their love, yet they kept slowing it down to try to show the other uninteresting characters. They also started focusing on the office work WAYYY too much for my liking. I only came for the love. They lost me a bit there because the pacing was a bit weird.
-ending was Sooo rushed. I felt the resolution with the bad guys was too anticlimactic in how they were apprehended and how everything was resolved. Felt like they could have cut it off clean, but didn't due to time constraints, maybe.
-Also, no reveal of his face when he came back? Just his back made it feel a tiny bit incomplete, like they kicked him off set and had a get a body double
- They kept coming together and pulling apart and coming back together. So much back and forth. And no prolonged time, just loving each other and being a real couple. But this is not that kind of drama, so it's okay.
-We didn't really get to see them together like the cherry on top or the bow on the present, like most complete dramas I've watched that go full circle and leave no questions. It was one of the quick 2-second reunions after a long trip ending, which I usually despise, but this one made sense, so I gave it a pass.

Overall, it was a pleasant surprise. Coming into this, ChatGPT said I'd be giving it a 6.5 out of 10. They said the love was too light and the payoff was small. I have to say I completely disagree and absolutely adore this drama. The concept, the actors, the OST, fashion, and production. It was so well done. I only rated it lower because of the rushed ending and the lagging when they started to show too much office stuff I didn't care about when the love story was so good.

Not bad, but why have negative comment? Becausee......

The beginning of the story is quite interesting, telling the daily life of airport officers, and solving various types of passenger cases, but in the last 2 / 16 eps or 6/32 eps, I felt a little uninterested anymore, like I was lazy to start watching, but when I watched it still quite interesting, and there was a feeling of wanting to finish it soon

In my opinion, the stories about the many cases that were obtained as airport workers attracted me enough
But regarding the story of the lead cast it seems unclear, and the story about the support cast not very well, they discussed in the story but the reason or how it happened is not clear,
1. Misunderstanding between Seo, Choi, and Yang Timjangnim 2 years ago? I even asked who her husband was? Which turned out to be Manager Choi at the last eps of story
2. How yang manager know about Leeseoyeon? , he said he had known him from the beginning of his newlife
3. How about HAN's father, how can he know Prof Jang? And what happened with her father? He is dead?
4. and about severals scenes, which are suspicious, but do not seem clear purpose
5. About the Japanese smuggler, didn't he get caught?
6.And about Joo won ho , and Director Shin of Geosan? Problems start because of them but have no end for them? Can you say the its call ending?

All the problems that happened to the cast like bonbujangnim kwon, even the leadcast leeseoyeon, happened because of their stubbornness, the stubbornness of the casts who complicated the story ,, not interesting ,, stubbornly advancing the airport even though he knew it was wrong, stubbornly refusing to take a rest which was still there is a chance to recover Until the disease becomes severe, it can even cause life to be threatened, then suffer himself

And an ending that is quite frustrating for the audience, how can they make an ending that doesn't even show the lead face? isn't that quite absurd?

This drama is an amazing drama. I avoided it at first because of so many negative reviews. It has a unique storyline and amazing acting, definitely watch. The main couple were adorable and it had quite of a plot twist and it really got you in your feels. I've seen so many people attacking the female lead saying she's annoying and clingy. Honestly, I loved her character she was sensitive, bold and cute. The reason I gave it an overall score of 9 was because of the rushed ending, what happened to the side characters?

a little dragged but good

i overall liked this drama, the only things that i didn’t really enjoyed were the “bad guys”(idk how to call them), they popped out of nowhere until the last episodes.
i liked the main couple but the second couple has my heart >_<, kinda sad that their story was dragged until the last episodes, i would’ve loved a more centred story about them, not only showing her lying about having a boyfriend lol :)
overall it’s a nice story and great characters, for example yang seo goon. recommended (^_^)!

3/4 of the Noonas completed this drama. Amanda dropped it over concerns with the way they were portraying the disability of the male lead and where they seemed to be headed with that. While her concerns were not entirely realized, they were not unfounded either. The drama was over all quite cute but had many minor plots that were alluded to and then discarded, and the handling of the disability was definitely not done well. The three Noonas who completed the drama enjoyed it, but had thoughts and feelings over a less than fully satisfactory ending. You can check out our thoughts in more detail in our spoiler laden podcast episode.
