Before Wu Zhu confronts Gu He, Hai Tang intercedes but is quickly sent away to kill Xiao En so that Wu Zhu and Gu He can duel. Fan Xian resorts to poisoning Xiao En to keep him under control. Xiao Yi breaks protocol to deal with Fan Xian, while Shang Shan, Xiao En’s foster son, heads to Fan Xian’s diplomatic entourage to save Xiao En. Guo Bao Kun’s ragtag of assassins slowly make their way to Fan Xian.
