Lovely Horribly

Both are horror themed romance dramas with comedy elements.
- The female lead is seriously unlucky.

Between two main leads, the one is very lucky and the other one is very unlucky. The similiarities is the male lead is very lucky and the female lead is very unlucky. The big difference is this drama not include the horror.

Its a little bit similar in diferent situations, while in W she tries to save the male lead from dying beacuse of the comic, im Lovely horribly she tries to save the main male lead from dying from his own fate, with the drama she's writting.

Both dramas have a strong sense of suspense, with big cliffhangers as the story progresses. Script writing/web-drama drawing plays a big role in what happens to the characters throughout the dramas--in ways that effect reality greatly.

Both are dramas with supernatural, romance, comedy elements & utilize the theme of bad luck as a main story arc.

Both have a plot that centers around fate. One's happiness/luckiness is the other's misfortune/unluckiness. The main characters of both dramas experience what it is like to be in the other's shoes.

In both dramas the protagonists fates are linked the way that then something good happens to one, something bad must happen to the other.

Even though 1 is a movie & 1 is a drama, both have the strong theme of being cursed with bad luck...........................

Both dramas have a strong horror/suspense element throughout with comedy and romance mixed in. The actors play a big role in making you want to keep watching (acting skills++). Lovely Horribly is currently holding together much better than My Secret Hotel (no offense!). The general feeling of eerie with a sprinkle of warmth and humor is similar in both dramas which is the main reason for this recommendation.


...I personally lost interest by the end of My Secret Hotel, but hope Lovely Horribly is different

Both dramas have a similar humor regardless of the fantastic/horror overall theme. In both drama you find yourself trembling in fear one second then the next moment you're laughing out loud.

Similar vibe, both are comedy-horror stories about ghosts. The main characters in both dramas team up after a rocky start.
