I've watched this 2 times & I liked it enough to buy it but end was very typical for K-dramas, but for me, not enough romance & concrete resolution as I would have liked. Music is great . Real reason to watch ? Jang Keun-suk ! His, facial expression are captivating. This was one of the first K-dramas I watched & what drew me into the genre. On second viewing I was disappointed that it wasn't as wonderful. Lead guy is really harsh (even though why he's like that is well explained) Lead girl is over the top clumsy & it grated on my nerves as I don't enjoy that kind of comedy in large doses. The sadness of the second lead (guy)pursuing & breaking & rebreaking & rebreaking his heart over lead girl was not great. The only consolation the viewer has is that he's available for the viewer to love without competition ! The music was good . Ending is SO typical for this genre & left me flat. Still, this series holds a special place in my heart because it was a first love when I was first introduced to K-dramas & really it's a classic, but I will wait another 5 years before watching.

I wished to see even a post-credit reunion of lead couple after Africa visit, but given the atmosphere of dramas in 2009 this ending was better than most, and on a positive note.

wow okay i think this has one of the nicest endings of a rom-com kdramas i have seen anywhere. the ending here is better than BoF i think, and quite similar to Hana Yori Dango season 2 when Tsukasa proposed to Tsukushi in the stadium LOL (here he went down towards her from the performing stage and hugged her in front of all the audience LMAO). also the scene when he sang the song WHAT DO I DO in its entirety at the stage, not sure if the one played in the drama is the studio version or the live version, but i loved him singing that song! in fact i love all the OST that he sang in this.i also really liked the scene in the middle of the episode when she had to pretend as Go Mi Nam again because of an emergency situation and was caught by Tae Kyung right away. how? because he holds her hand and remembers the feeling when they held hands a few times before. that scene just made my heart flutter. also we get the scene at the end where Tae Kyung's mother sincerely asked for his apology and he's now willing to take steps to forgive her. she seems like still going to Africa which i don't really get LOL, but maybe for a short while only for her to decide on her path/passion. overall, i enjoyed the final episode. i thought it was quite well done, compared to ones preceding it.

This drama frustrated me in so many ways. Mi-nyu isn't the kind of strong, intelligent female character that I prefer, and Tae-kyung's sneering, smirking arrogance made me want to slap him almost every time he was on screen. Also, I tend to dislike plots based on lack of communication. A few honest conversations could have solved most of these characters' problems. Still, the side characters are (mostly) endearing, the music is good, and the ending is pretty satisfying. I don't regret watching it, but it's probably not a drama I'll revisit.

I won't lie I was kinda disappointed with this ending. After so long we don't get to see them be lovey dovey. She just goes to Africa. Sad. But the rest of the drama was amazing.
