Wotakoi: Love Is Hard for Otaku

Both films have leads that play games, as well as a bubbly and chatty FL and a cool somewhat detached ML

-A workplace romance.
-The male lead falls in love first.
-A very sweet and mature romance that doesn't rely on dumb drama.
-They start dating early on for convenience, but the feelings start to show later.
-The female lead is an extreme fangirl, but it doesn't faze the male lead at all.
-Though she's a fangirl, she isn't painted as incompetent.

Even if you don't like the live-action movie for Wotakoi, I still highly recommend the Wotakoi anime if you liked Her Private Life! :)

A story of two manga artists who accidentally meet, drink together and fool around. This way begins the love story between them.

College student Suwa Hinata catches a glimpse of Shirosaki Yoriko, his co-worker from a former part-time job and falls immediately in love. Summoning up his courage, he eventually confesses his feelings to her and she responds "...but I'm a fujoshi." Hinata not having the slight clue what "fujoshi" means, immediately responds "That's OK!"

For Mamoru Nekoyashiki, a doujinshi artist, the only thing that satisfies his need for approval is to sell his original BL manga at the popular Kabesa section (a section for popular doujinshi circles on the wall side of the venue) and be recognized by readers at the event. But then one day, something happens to him! He meets Kazama Issei, a childhood friend he once had a crush on who is now a popular up-and-coming idol. Their lives in distant worlds should never have crossed paths, but you can't take your eyes off this story of two young men growing up in each other's presence!

If you enjoyed Wotakoi’s light tone, gentle romance, and commentary on compatibility over chemistry, The Full-Time Wife Escapist gives a slightly more grounded but equally charming take on love as negotiation, not just passion.

Someday is about four different people's story about love.
Hana Yamaguchi was a successful young cartoonist in Japan. Abandoned by her parents and brought up by her grandma, she was cold and aloof and did not believe in love which to her was only a simple biological response. When the elderly neighbourhood street sweeper died, she discovered the affection between him and her neighbour which lasted 60 years. Hana could not understand this kind of love, so she decided to trace her neighbour's footstep to Korea when she disappeared with her lover's ashes.
Go Jin Pyo was a doctor who was a comic book fan of Hana. He was overjoyed in meeting Hana and believed that he was in love for the first time in his life. He decided to help Hana in fulfilling her wish to look for her neighbour and enlisted the help of a private eye, Lee Seok Man.Lee was the sole survivor of a car accident whereby his parents and brother were killed. He carried a lot of guilt towards the parents of the other victim and did his best to help out even at the expense of owing money to the loan sharks.
Hye Young was a PD of animation projects and a close friend of Jin Pyo. she didn't realize that she was in love with him till Hana appeared.
In bringing her neighbour's love story to fruition and published in print, the process changed the lives and outlook on love for these four people.

Kanoko Tsukishiro is a 26 year old woman who's never been in love. She works in the editorial department. Saku Kagaya is a popular novelist who can not love. Somehow, they end up falling in love with each other.
