Silly, 3-F student, Aihara Kotoko is rejected when she confesses to her 3-year crush, the brilliant, 3-A student Irie Naoki. This becomes more embarrassing when her house burns down, she and her father goes to his high school friend's Ma and Misaki house, that are Naoki's parents. Wanting to keep this quiet at school, Naoki demands they are never together in public, but takes it too far when he ignores her when she gets in trouble on their way to school. Angered, Kotoko states she will prove she is as good as the smart kids making the Top 100 list on the next exams. With a horrible attempts at studying, Ma who loves having a girl in the house shows Kotoko the photo of Naoki dressing as a girl in his childhood. She blackmails Naoki to help her study. This excites the parents on Naoki's involvement with Kotoko, Ma takes pictures of them studying together and puts one in a good-luck charm her Kotoko to bring to school. Kotoko is lucky enough to succeed in making the Top 100 list, but the photo from the charm is exposed at school.
