SKY Castle

Upper class mothers strive for the best and classy education for their children. Both of these dramas contain the above elements.

SKY Castle and Secret Mother both have parents who entrust their child's academics to a "coach" who has a mysterious side to them. Both shows' coaches are working for the families with hidden agendas. The shows both also have mothers that would do anything for their child. One of the biggest differences, though, (other than the intentions behind each coach) is that Secret Mother focuses more on one family rather than multiple ones like SKY Castle.

These dramas offer intense storytelling, complex characters, and themes of crime, morality, and personal struggle, making them excellent choices for fans awaiting "As You Stood By."

Both of these dramas are black comedies that skillfully take on the controversial class division that exists in Korean society. These dramas particularly focus on extremely wealthy and educated families with dark secrets that threaten to ruin their perfectly (and somewhat falsely) constructed reputations. There's also some forbidden romance and even a bit of danger. You're in for a treat.

the main plot is different. but, the subplot about "special preparation class" reminds me of sky castle. and bang sua character is the walmart version of kang yeseo lol

Birthcare Centre is comedy drama about career female lead and she's trying to have a baby.
SKY Castle doesn't have much in common. It's more focused on education than mothers/parents and their childs. But it's also female centred plot.

Both show power dynamics and how People at top try to manipulate people at bottom and middle.
Both involve murders.

There aren't many things similar between these two but pyramid game definitely gave me sky castle vibes

SKY Castle is almost like the drama version of Parasite, minus the theme on the broken education system (well not really, there's a similarity here since the poor son entered into the rich family's house as the English tutor for their high school daughter). The rich families in SKY Castle resemble the rich family's life in Parasite, except in the movie there's not much background about the rich family so you have to extract it from their small conversations, e.g. when the husband and wife are spending the night together on the couch. Both are heavy on social commentaries and have a good mixture of satire and shock elements. Enjoy!

Both these dramas are gripping thriller that will keep you on edge.
Murder, mystery, friendships, a lot of drama and bitterness are to be expected.

It has the same vibe and also the same genre. I bet you will fall in love this drama quickly and get addicted.

both dramas are similar in a way that the plot surrounds students being pushed to do extreme things in order to pursue a successful future.
however, sky castle focuses a lot on family reputation and how one failure in the family can drag everyone down altogether, leading to a lot of mind manipulation and emotional casualties.
definitely recommend watching sky castle if you enjoyed extracurricular!
