A really good drama with a ot of action, friendship and only a bit of romance (sweet and cute)
I started this drama because I really like Zhu Ya Wen (after seeing him in “Across the ocean to see you”).The plot promised a romantic series. In fact the romance (very present in the first half) then almost completely loses its place on the screen.
STORY
Arranged marriage between 1 FL heiress-CEO (who is struggling to establish herself in the company) and 1 ex-elite soldier with TPSD. He will help her face a lot of difficulties: conspiracies, economic rivalries, drug & girl traffickers, etc. not to mention the inevitable love triangle with the returning ex-boyfriend. He will be supported by 2 of his brothers in arms.
The first part is pleasant and catchy, with a lot of action scenes (well done), moments of humor, and a hate-love relationship that keeps the viewer in suspense.
On the other hand, the drama should have stopped after the orphanage and the return to town.
The last part, abroad, with the former brother-in-arms who wants to conquer the world, is really too much! Too much Machiavellianism, too many gangs, too many fights, TOO MUCH!
ACTING
ALL the actors are excellent. Zhu Ya Wen, the mischievous but effective ML, devours the screen. Mike He is also perfect. The FL Yang Zi Shan, and the FL2 lack a bit of micro-expressions, but do the job. The secondary characters are also provided by talented actors.
TECHNICAL
The production is lively, the images are beautiful and the action scenes of very good quality.
In the last part (abroad), the English dubbing is a bit artificial.
The OSTs aren't remarkable, but that's ok.
CONCLUSION
It's still a good drama. If you want a romantic series, stop after the first half.
If you are an action fan, you will find your happiness in the 2nd part.

J'ai commencé ce drama parce que j'aime beaucoup Zhu Ya Wen (après l'avoir vu dans "Across the ocean to see you").
Le plot promettait une série romantique. En fait la romance (bien présente dans la 1e moitié) perd ensuite presque complètement sa place à l'écran.
STORY
Mariage arrangé entre 1 FL héritière-CEO (qui a du mal à s'imposer dans la compagnie) et 1 ex-soldat d'élite avec TPSD. Il va l'aider à affronter un tas de difficultés : complots, rivalités économiques, trafiquants de drogue & de filles, etc. sans compter l'inévitable triangle amoureux avec l'ex-boyfriend de retour. Il sera épaulé par 2 de ses frères d'arme.
La 1ere partie est agréable et accrocheuse, avec beaucoup de scènes d'action (bien réalisées), des moments d'humour, et une relation hate-love qui tient le spectateur en haleine.
Par contre, le drama aurait dû s'arrêter après l'orphelinat et le retour en ville.
La dernière partie, à l'étranger, avec l'ancien frère d'arme qui veut conquérir le monde, est vraiment en trop ! Trop de machiavélisme, trop de gangs, trop de fights, TROP !
ACTING
TOUS les acteurs sont excellents. Zhu Ya Wen, le ML malicieux mais efficace, dévore l'écran. Mike He est aussi parfait. La FL Yang Zi Shan, et la FL2 manquent un peu de micro-expressions, mais font le job. Les personnages secondaires sont aussi assurés par des acteurs talentueux.
TECHNIC
La réalisation est vive, les images sont belles et les scènes d'action de très bonne qualité.
Dans la dernière partie (à l'étranger), le doublage en anglais fait un peu artificiel.
Les OST ne sont pas remarquables, mais ça passe.
CONCLUSION
Cela reste un bon drama. Si vous souhaitez une série romantique, arrêtez-vous après la 1ere moitié.
Si vous êtes fan d'action, vous trouverez votre bonheur dans la 2nde partie.

Powerful drama and impressive acting
Zhu Ya Wen's acting was so incredible in this powerful drama, it is hard to find one negative thing to say about him. Even though the end of this drama was oddly over rushed in comparison to the prior episodes, overall the story and acting made up for the tepid ending. The scenery was often breathtaking. The OST couldn't have been better. Zhu Ya Wen carried the FL throughout the drama, the four second leads were all excellent (especially Mike He Jun as Lei Shuo, Sui Yong Liang as Feng Long, and Qin Bo Kun as Wu Feng Yu) , and many more of the remaining support cast stood out. The English-speaking actors were probably the least attractive and effective actors, so much so the drama could have easily done without them.Was this review helpful to you?
it is a very strange world
Imagine a place called China situated in a whatever continent . The people speaks mandarin practicing Chinese customs and yet this is not China. Every signage is in English but nobody speaks English. This is a totally strange strange world. It is more like a parallel world located in a distance galaxy 10 light years away.There is a strange company called MOOYAN, Frankly to speak the script is full of flaw when dealing on engineering point of view. There is no way to calculate on using purely calculus to design an aircraft engine. Furthermore there is not a single paper drawing seen in every episode other than calculus . Nowdays in the modern world , there is a software to simulate the engine output based on every data input from the user. In every room there are lots of computers for the programmer to work with but why they still need to write down calculations on the board like back in school years or even before 1980s. The author really had a serious under exposure in engineering business where in this modern world everything had been purely automated. During an air craft engine test run I had a good laugh on myself. The scene located inside a corporate HQ building in a city central. It is a total bluff from reality. Do you know how dangerous it is to conduct a test in a dense urban location? If the engine exploded the whole building would collapse equivalent to a 100 TNT strength . I recalled a drama in year 2020 starring Chen xiang yu and Hu bing qing. the drama has a real pure engineering feel. Besides calculation there are simulations , mock ups and best of all paper drawing. It is more real life like . I would much more comfortable if the producer change their business nature into IT software company perhaps. It would much more forgiven for an engineering background personal.
In a location far far a away there is a place called BARZHEN . That place resembles in a small village in Thailand or maybe Laos tropical rainforest where we can encounter the weirdest population I ever seen in my life. There are people who can speak fluent Mandarin and surprisingly American / British English. Even a small local kid have the multilingual talent but one thing makes me wonder THEY DO NOT SPEAK THAI OR LAOS or whatever native language you could find. Over the village we also could find face look like an East Asian and half Caucasion. I could not see any tan skin which native to south east asian skin colour. The movie set itself is like a movie set taken straight from the theme park. It is so fake indeed. Why can't the set director spare more effort study the culture and the architecture of the designated location?
the final shooting location be in DAGON (if I had pronounce it correctly) There are so many major flaws here. First of all there is a quick scene shown the flag of Czech Republic but the geographical location the story describe I believe is somewhere in Russia. You could see a mixture of Cyrillic alphabet and Roman alphabet mix together. Even weird is the population speaks a mixture of English with Italian tone along American and British English. Maybe for Chinese population it does not make any difference for them but as a non Chinese person this contrast is quite striking to me. I believe the scenes is not really shot on any European cities. I would believe it is shot somewhere in Harbin during winter season.
By conclusion this drama had full of flaw in both geographical and culture so to speak. Without doing in-depth study on foreign culture would resulting a numbers of errors appear on the story itself. Overall I do not impress with whole series of episode and I would spend any effort to praise for their effort. My advise to the drama producers, DO WUXIA DRAMA INSTEAD ! it is much more exciting and you would not going to face those common errors happen to this drama again.

Just Don't!
Oh dear what to say. Everything about this just stinks! Bizarre plot lines based on ml and fl childhood pasts, his stint in a security force, her business.Just know who the villain will turn out to be pretty early on. The ml and fl relationship is noncommunicative and based on his childhood love for her which is flimsy to say the least. Plus with his ptsd and lack of self worth what sense does it make that he believes he can protect her in a marriage where they meet on the wedding day!!!Most of her loved ones incl ml lie to her in one way or another- all in her best interests of course! Incl loving, dying granny!
Ml is just aggravating in how he acts around her for most of the series - do not find his behaviour endearing nor his facial expressions attractive. She is a cold fish and its hard to see anyone warming to her. She was only appealing with her ex who left her in the typical dont explain but come back once he had proved himself scenario - actually i did prefer him to the ml!
After dragging out the business plot in ever more bizarre ways whole thing relocates to scene of his past for evermore ludicrous scenarios. Once back home and thinking it was the last episode witnessed a horrendous birthday party to expose his true feelings - what? Why? As if there was any need. I would have been angry beyond words.
So to my horror another 5 episodes to reveal all.Sorry that party was the last straw for me after fast forwarding for so much of this series as it was. I feel no interest or love for any if the characters and cant be bothered to see the predictable conclusion.
Most disconnected, ill thought out premise and plot lines with unappealling characters and nonsensical scenarios its ever been my mistake to watch! Rrally dint waste your time!

Very nice drama
I like the storyline, the mix of slow burn romance, bussiness and criminals. There are lots of action and fighting scenes. Both couples chemistry work well too, especially between Mu Wan Qing and Liu Qing. Nice acting of Zhu Ya Wen and Yang Zi Shan. Also like the costume they wear. I really enjoy this series. Hope there's season two of this series. The OSTs are also good. The only thing I don't like is the english dubbing, very poor. But overall, It's great to watch and rewatch. This is probably one of the best directed C-Dramas set in Modern Time
I gotta say, this show has me hooked. It's shot and directed incredibly well and the leads play their roles to perfection. It also helps that the on screen chemistry between all of the main and side characters really works in this show. And the plot surrounding these great details is engaging enough that it feels like episodes fly by rather than drag. I don't really understand why this is rated as low as it is at the time of me writing this review. It's honestly better than most dramas of its type with a MC having a secret past or past life as a badass cliché.Was this review helpful to you?
Watched it twice
This is a spy network, drama with some comedy. There is lot's of intrigue in this story. lot's of action as well as it does contain some military drama. I did watch it twice as I had forgotten some of the story. The main lead is well known and he usually makes main roles amazing. Really Like this Series
I found out about this title because I really am not a fan of cdramas and the way the cinderella always comes off as a helpless little girl. The little girl act, I assume is preferred by those in the country, is kind of creepy. So I don't watch them at all. The male leads are always better to me. I researched to find some more mature Cdramas because I didn't want to just give up and this is the first series out of the list that I started watching. That was 16 hours ago and now I am on episode 14.I really like this series, I like the two male leads. I think both of them are extremely handsome with great characters. I actually think Liu Qing is the more handsome because I really like his personality, always smiling though he hides so much pain. Of the two female leads, I didn't like Wan Qing at all. You told your father to pick any husband then you complained about the husband he picked. But as she softened more to her husband, her personality began to grow on me. I don't like JunDie, she's aggravating. She looks like a started puppy and acts like one. I think what I don't like most is she behaves like the cinderella that thinks she is tough but probably gets beat up all the time, especially by life. Seriously don't like her character.
Will update this review as I complete the series.

Serie poco riuscita e apparentemente più datata di quanto non sia.
La prima cosa che mi ha colpita di questo drama - purtroppo in negativo - è stata l'impressione che fosse più datato di quello che è. Mi è capitato di vedere serie recenti che si presentano in quanto tali, vecchie serie palesemente obsolete e drama datati ma che sembrano non aver risentito più di tanto del passare del tempo. Questa è forse la prima volta che mi imbatto in una serie di pochi anni or sono ma alla quale - tra fotografia, scenografia, montaggio e quant'altro - avrei dato tranquillamente una manciata di anni in più. E sentire il bisogno di svecchiare una produzione del 2021 vuol dire già partire con il piede sbagliato.La trama, tuttavia, si prospetta interessante e incentrata su uno dei miei clichè preferiti, quello del matrimonio di convenienza. Che i protagonisti non fossero due giovani usciti l'altro ieri dall'adolescenza era un altro punto a favore.
Oltre al romance trovano spazio le scene di azione, i segreti passati, il desiderio di vendetta, i rapporti di amicizia in pieno stile bromance. Il tutto, però, in modo non troppo ben bilanciato.
Rispetto ai protagonisti, l'attore maschile ha saputo delineare un personaggio caratteristico, che si distingue dalla massa di ML spesso un po' tutti uguale, anche se per altri versi decisamente imperfetto. Ho apprezzato la sua singolare espressività che conferisce alla figura risvolti complessi ma anche tratti un po' sopra le righe e quasi buffi, complessivamente apprezzabili in quanto lo definiscono in modo abbastanza netto e per nulla insipido. Diversa invece la percezione nei confronti della protagonista femminile, che non mi è proprio piaciuta: l'ho trovata insulsa, antipatica, pettinata e truccata in modo discutibile, poco spontanea nella recitazione. La freddezza del suo personaggio risulta molto artificiosa e non riesce a contrastare con l'approccio opposto di lui. Poteva essere una buona coppia, sulla carta, ma nel concreto non la definirei riuscita.
La storia d'amore si sviluppa troppo lentamente, l'attesa e i piccoli - o nulli - passi in avanti alla lunga è estenuante. A livello di sviluppo ho quasi preferito il pairing secondario, e non è cosa normale nella riuscita di un buon drama.
A conti fatti, la prima metà della serie è quella meglio riuscita. Migliorabile, certo, ma tutto sommato funziona. La seconda parte invece è proprio precipitata: il romance si fa bruscamente da parte e prende il sopravvento l'azione, con situazioni misteriose e irrisolte del passato annesse. Al tutto si aggiungono a raffica tutta una serie di nuove tematiche, troppe per essere gestite come si deve. Gli episodi si appesantiscono, perdono i tratti positivi che rendono la prima parte del drama piacevole e, con questo senso di immotivato sovraccarico volgono a conclusione, culminando in un episodio finale che è di una delusione assoluta.
I difetti, complessivamente, superano di molto i pregi, motivo per cui non vedo davvero ragione di consigliarla, nemmeno quale visione leggera e disimpegnata, perchè di fatto è più che altro una storia non riuscita. L'invecchiamento precoce non la farà ricordare come una grave perdita...

Mahilig sa action at pagibig huwag palampasin
Mahilig tayo sa mga action na pilikula sa kung kukumpara wala masyadong visual effect ito o kaya sanay na tayo sa ganitong estilo. Pagdating din sa team song masasabi kong tapwe lang kompara sa ating mga pelikula. Pero eto ka pagdating sa istorya at pag arte pag ako tatanungin eh oks na oks di lang makapagkumpara samga artista kasi paka may ma sagi ako at may masaktan. Kanya kanya tayo nang idol diba. Ganito nalang madadala ka sa istorya pati na din sa pagarte. Ang istorya mahirap hulaan, ako isa ako sa mga nanonood na alam ko na ano mang yayari dyan tignan mo, ganyan ako minsan kaso dto halos lahat nang hula ko palpak. Yung idang babae at lalaki pagmagkasama sa eksena para mo lang pinanonood kaibigan mo. Natural ang dating nila. Yung mga sumosoporta yung kapatid nang kaibigan abay kung maaabot kulang mababatukan ko ibig sabihin madadala ka talaga sa Role na ginawa nya kasi nga nainis nya ako hindi dahil sa hindi marunong umarte kundi sa galing. Yung mga kaibigan din na naging magpartner kahit di sila sing galing nang mga namumunong artista hayop naman sa halik kung maka halik supsop ay naku nakakaingit. So di ka man maluha or matuwa aba masisigurado ko naman na maiinis ka at madadala sa ingit hehehe. Basta pag umpisa medyo akala mo di maganda ang papanoodin mo, ang masasabiko lang huwag mainip bago matapos ang unang kabanata ok na takbo nang kwento.
