The acting was really good.
All the crying scenes felt so real they made me be on Third side making me to Believe Kai was more than just a really shitty friend.
Support cast acting was good too.
The only thing i don't like about this drama is the ending. Where Kai Realise he likes Third. Their ending seems rushed and cuz it is rushed or it ends this way it kinda lacks chemistry.
Overall i like it a lot. Each time i watch it i cry like crazy (the way they make us believe and see the story different. That's why you should watch it at least twice to see the difference.).

not the best thing I have ever seen but still pretty good
So the average for the episode was an 8.1, so I rounded down and gave it an 8. The highest I gave it was a 9, and that was the first and last episode. The lowest was a 5, and it was the motorcycle crash episode. funniest shit I have ever seen. I have never laughed so hard. Why was he rolling? And what did he even hit? Third was really getting on my last nerve with his bullshit toward the final episodes. I completely understand where he is coming from because he wants real love and whatnot, but God damn. and the fucking singing. Please stop singing. This isn't a high school musical. Just shut up. Un and two with their goofy asses relationship, I think that was cute. Bone having to let go to find happiness, I'm glad that was the end instead of Paan cheating as well. That was deep and needed. All around, not a bad show at all. It was a hella slow burn, but I really enjoyed it (yes, I stopped working on it for three days because of the "cheating" part, but I got through it). I would recommend this. This took a lot of brain power. No tears, luckily, so I am stronger than a Thai drama once more. I love these actors to death, so I am biased, but this was a good one. Un's 6 foot ass being scared of the dark. Bro, the dark is scared of you. I am watching the special episode right now because it was a pretty good show. I really liked this friend group. Okay, good acting, because the person who played Shane had my blood boiling. Everything that went wrong was his fault. shane getting on my last nerve for real for real. Just shut up; you are ruining everything. And ching chong (that was her name, i swear) the whole thing happened because Khai ran that bitch over with his bike. That was so funny. I am sorry. All the emotions
Gun has the most natural acting, not overly express on the face but i can feel the pain, shyness, the frustrations.I like how they use classic romcom movie titles for every episode title, relates to the series as the characters are students major in film making.

Great series overall but definitely lacking in some parts.
I'll start off with the best part of this series, the casting. The cast is just immaculate, I think the role they played really matches how some of them are in real life, and having OffGun play the lead role is just the cherry on top. Although, I must say that if you are new to the whole BL fandom and is not a Babi (OffGun fan) the duo might seem a little bit awkward at first but you will definitely see a genuine love for each other at the end of the series. Next, the plot. The plot is a little bit confusing for me, starting with the playboy Khai and cute little Third being madly in love with him. For me, Third's character almost became love-blind to the point that he was becoming obsessed with Khai and the story didn't really have an explanation as to what made Third fall in love with Khai apart from them being bestfriends. The ending also felt very rushed by suddenly jumping into four years later, I felt that there was so much more missing and there was really no knowledge given to the audience as to how they managed to handle the relationship for that long. But ending on a good note, this series is definitely worth the watch. 100% would recommend this series for beginners in the BL universe.Was this review helpful to you?
A ‘meh’ from me
I was hoping I would love this but I truly struggled. I’m not one to skip scenes but towards the end I couldn’t help but do so.And to be honest, I was not expecting much as I tend to avoid watching pre 2020 Thai BLs cause I remember how much I struggled with them back then.
But watching ‘Not me’ prior to this gave me a big push cause I wanted to see ‘Off & Gun’ in something else.
While I wouldn’t recommend this, it’s not a full right off. It’s more of a reminder for me to not bother with older Thai BLs.
The scenes with the main couples were great though. They did a good job with what they had. And Gun is a fantastic actor per usual. He has a way of showing emotions in a way many actors in this genre aren’t able to.

Amazing representation of deep feelings
I think this bl drama can show deep and strong feelings in a very realistic way. I was shocked after seeing it.Starting with the story, I think it´s pretty basic. Like your typical unattainable school crush that everyone thinks he´s hot. But from this weak plot it was possible to take advantage. So this is how they developed Theory of Love in the best way.
The cast was just perfect. I actually don´t know very much about Offgun but I can saw how good actors they are. Gun fit Third's character perfectly, especially in the sad scenes. He can cry so naturally and express all the pain with just a facial expression. And talking about Off, he was the indicated to represent Khai. When I see him I can´t understand how we can work in bl dramas, like he looks that one popular straight guy who has a lot of girls at his knees hehehe. So he fit Khai´s character sooooo good and I get mad a lot of times with him because his face of selfish and very bad friend was so real. They are amazing actors no joke.
About the seccondary characters i didn´t pay a lot of attention but it was curious to see their love story too. Un´s (Earth) and Two´s was cute. They started fighting over a girl and ended up staying together, simple but good and hilarous story. I was shocked about the plot twist (Un had a cruh on Two some years before) Btw I love Earth´s acting skills he´s so cool and handsome.
I´m not gonna say anything about Bone´s and Paan´s relationship. It was cute at first but ended up being weird. I dislike teacher-student topic so much
If Third and Khai had remained as strangers, it would have been a good ending. Third really needed to get over his crush, but in the end this is a bl drama and it was sure they were going to end up together. I can´t forgive Khai for all the things he did to Third.
Something I don't understand is how Khai so suddenly started to fall in love with Third, knowing that he doesn't date friends and only likes women. It was fast and confusing. I really thought that he was confused about love and loneliness, as they mentioned in the series.
In summary, this series is painful to watch but it is worth it for how well they show something so casual in young people, falling in love with the wrong one and having to stop idealizing it. Just get over it and realize who you're dreaming of being with.

4 kinds of Love
Theory of love really portrayed a realistic version one one sided love, and shows different throws of love we’ll all experience in life.1. The love that endures. This is Third! Him loving Khai for 3 years and having the patience to endure the pain that came with the love.
2. The live that changes you the the better. Khai was not the best at the beginning. He craved loved but never knew or even experienced what true love was like. Which is why when he was trying to re-write Third’s list of things he hated about him, Third told him to give up cause he couldn’t complete number 7 which was He didn’t know how to love and only loved himself.
3. The unexpected love. After the Two and P’Un’s “rescue” fiasco with the assumed suicide, I believe Two began to fall but never realized it. He likes Lynn but was also questioning his feelings towards P’Un. Eventually he realized where his heart was leading him and found happiness.
4. Sacrificial love. This was Bone all the way. Even though he eventually found love, he sacrificed what he wanted to see Paan be happy and as much as that had to hurt, her happiness meant the world to him even if it wasn’t with him.

overall a good series
okay this was a rollercoaster ride of emotions .. the first few episodes were so frustrating I swear that I almost thought of dropping it but I'm glad I didn't. The way the plot progressed & the way the characters developed, it made me appreciate the series. Ofc I've few complains but if I judge it only on the basis of the writing , story & the performances it's no doubt a good series.P.S I wrote this review exactly one year after I watched the series & my opinions about the series is more or less the same as it was one year ago. So I guess this says something too ..

The acting 💯
Gun's acting was spectacular! I could literally feel every pain he was feeling. I was soo heartbroken for Third. I could feel he really loved Khai despite how Khai treats him.
Off also played his part well. If anyone hated Khai in this series, then know Off played his part well. Although he made baby thrid cry a lot.
The other actors also played their role well. Two is such a sweetie! Being with third during his tough times. That kind of friend is ❤️
The chemistry between Khai and Third was good.
The music was 💯. I totally love the music!!!
The plot is 💯.
The storyline is Soo good. And also, this story taught that not every one can have a happy ending. Although I wish Bone could have gotten one...
I can't count how many times I've rewatcted theory of love now. I love this series so much and rate it 10/10. A MUST WATCH!!

This series is one of the bl that made me cry for the full series. The series revolves around kai and third who are best friends in the gang of four. so third is a closeted gay who fell in love badly with kai. in the other hand kai is the resident player of their university. He hook up with every girl literally. Every time he brings a girl he kick out third since they are living together for the year in condo. Things got really worst when their mutual friend know about this. And yeah finally kai will know this and try experimenting with third which broke third's heart. so when third decided to move on kai catch feelings for him.. things started to get worst and best. Loved it!
I watched Theory of Love a while back, but never got the chance to review it.This is yet another one of my rewatch shows for whenever I'm in just the right mood!
I think what I love most about this show is Third and the progression of following his feelings towards Kai.
The emotional portrayal is so beautifully done even when he attempts to move on, I connected with Third a LOT.
Kai definitely was a character that had some annoying parts, but for me it never really was about Kai, this entire show to me was about Third and his growth. This was his love story to himself.
One that everyone will write at some point in their lives.
