Both are about a throuple made up of 2 guys + one girl. 3WBF is a lot more action-packed and darker(?) while 3 Person Marriage is more fluff and about navigating society/family/marriage in an unconventional couple dynamic

Same director, similar set up and premise, better executed. If you like NLMG you will love 3WBF and if you dislike NLMG then 3WBF will deliver on everything you are disappointed about in NLMG.

Edit: Jojo Tichakorn the director also confirmed that these two dramas take place in the same universe! There was supposed to be a crossover in NLMG where Shin became a cameo mentor to Neungdiao but it was eventually scrapped for time.

Three people in love with each other. Can it work? The drama is obviously longer and has a mafia/crime elements pushing the plot forward while the short film is focusing solely on the relationship between the three.

The Thai series 3 Will Be Free is the ultimate love triangle with a trio involved in openly gay and bisexual relationships. The cast go on an epic, action packed journey with many unexpected twists that keep you guessing. My Girlfriend Is the Man! is also a love triangle between a male character and character that is sometimes male and sometimes female. It plays lightly with BL, GL reconfigurations as the Female lead switches back and forth into a Male lead, variously crushing on her male and female friends. While not as high paced as 3 Will Be Free, the plot similarly keeps you guessing.

This is another GMMTV series with prostitution, murder, striptease-club hostess female lead, and a trio of two guys and one girl working together.

I think the vibes of these two dramas are quite similar to each other, both are GMM dramas as well. Both dramas are lead by a female lead and two male leads.

Both feature characters that are part of the lgbt community and explore three-way relationships/poly relationships.

Both are groundbreaking and iconic thai dramas produced by gmmtv that discuss and tackle a wide variety of topics. They also include action and thriller elements and lgbt characters.

Appreciate that host club dance in 3 Will Be Free? You'll get more in Llong Ruk. In Llong Ruk a romance started in a host club is the center of the story, but it's not the central theme in 3 Will Be Free, though both have infidelity themes as well.

In 3 Will be Free, Tay Tawan plays the son of a mafia boss, much like Gun in Golden Blood. Gun and Tay share a lot of characteristics, they both want OUT of the mafia business and want to just live their lives. Both get targeted by OTHER mafia bosses. In 3 Will Be Free and Golden Blood, both have a second Male lead who is the protective type (Joss in 3 Will be Free and Boat in Golden blood). Both have LGBTQ+ characters. 3 Will Be Free is definitely the Rated R version of Golden Blood.

Both of these dramas focus on the lives of people involved in selling others or themselves in the sex trade and how they are slowly destroyed by the brutality of the business.

idrk what to tell you about this series but these two give off a similar vibe and are basically one of my faves so maybe you’ll like the series 3 will be free^^
