Threesome? Yes!
The story is awesome and thrilling. On the other hand, I find the story so predictable. Like the plot twists are so obvious. The casts are so hot, especially Khun Shin (Tay) and Neo (Joss). Mew (Mild) slayed it. The three of them gives the series balance flavor.
I can see the chemistry between Mae (P'Jennie) and Ter (Gunsmile). Looking forward for more series from them. Just a little bit upset when Phon (Max) died early in the series.
Music used in the series are okay.
Definitely will watch it again and it is worth it.

At first watching this show I the title seemed like something that was just a nice catchy thing for an action romance drama. But after actually watching the show the symbolism amazes me. I liked how all the characters were different, but Neo, Shin, and Miw were the real show stoppers. First off Miw has been through a lot and still was able to be strong, and for the most part kept a straight head on herself. Throughout the series being able to confront her past and be able to come back stronger because of it was inspiring. She was able to free herself from her past, and it was an wonderful to be able to experience it with her. Her freedom was her past. Shin is my favorite mainly because unlike the other two he grew up privileged and so he is assumed that he is just a gullible push-over. And for the most part this is true he is the one that holds them all together, and saves them more than one occasion. He is nice, smart guy who is always rational and makes the best decisions with the options that he is given. His father is seen as a bad guy, which he is, but at least he cares deeply for Shin even if its in a weird way. Shin's coming out was one of the best ways that a parent could respond and is one of my favorite quotes in the whole series because instead of rejecting him, he told him that he doesn't care about his sexuality, just that he takes care of himself first. Shin has grown as a person because of Neo and Miw. He is finally free of his father's expectation and has accepted himself finally. His freedom was his own mind. Neo is an extremely caring person, who believes in doing the right thing most of the time. He is a little hot-headed at times which gets him into trouble. He is the main cause of the three's problem, but in the end it just brought them closer. His freedom was from Thana. The way that the series brought them all together was nothing short of amazing. Miw and Shin likes Neo in their own way. Miw and Neo are both hard-headed and often clash which is resolved by Shin. Neo and Shin are careful with each other having a mutual understanding. And Shin and Miw have a lovey dovey kind of relationship. Both Neo and Miw care deeply for Shin, and doesn't want him to be left out. The story and the deeper meaning to everything makes this one of my favorite shows that I didn't expect to like. Was this review helpful to you?

STORYLINE;
The story so far is quite good and intriguing. you'll get to know the aspect as to why each of the characters are as what they are at present.
The story of the side characters will also hook you.(heartbreaking)
On the polyamory aspect, i get that the show is trying to convince people that such a perfect relationship exist which by the way does. In this show on the other hand you'll just have to imply that it does because clearly the show was forcing it.
There are scenes that shows that there is equal love among the three which by the way is expressed verbally but not entirely emotionally. I'm not sure if its with the actors or with story. It's giving me the vibe that the one ML is showing more affection to the FL than the other ML. The trio was mostly in my opinion hooked together because of a central figure which was the ML neo wherein the TWO other leads have romantic interest to. While this Two other leads doesn't seem to show as much affection and interest to one another as compared to what they feel towards Neo.
It felt forced. You'll just have to imply what their trying to convey as opposed to what is being shown."they love each other equally and romantically".the romantic story about the trio could've been more convincing if they added scenes where the other LEADS showed more intimacy to each other.(SHIN AND MIW),rather than making NEO as the only central figure amongst the three
ACTORS:
Great acting!! THERE ARE FLAWS
SCRIPT:
could've been made more convincing.esp the scenes.
MUSIC:
I love thai music.
SOUNDTRACK WAS GREAT
OVERALL:
A MIND OPENER.

This show had potential, and I really liked the first few episodes, but the flaws became hard to ignore. Half the time it felt like the trio were on a casual road trip instead of running for their lives. Neo was too cheerful, Shin was constantly needy, and the villains were surprisingly reckless. One villain got strangled in a barber shop, even though he was supposed to be powerful, and the second villain was taken out by Mae out of nowhere. The guards, the hideout, the logic—none of it added up.The dragged-out love triangle between Neo, Shin, and Miw also became too repetitive. I didn’t mind their shared history, but I wanted it resolved sooner. Shin needing constant reassurance got irritating, and Neo claiming he loved both while clearly treating Miw differently just made things messy.
I originally watched this for Joss, but I ended up staying because of Miw. She was the heart of the show—strong, grounded, and the only one who actually had meaningful growth. She carried real trauma yet stayed level-headed, and she was the only character who made decisions based on logic instead of emotions. Miw saved Neo twice, stood up for herself, and never chased after anyone for validation. She was blunt, brave, and emotionally mature in a way the others weren’t. What I loved most was that she knew her own worth; she didn’t cling to Neo, didn’t compete with Shin, and never let anyone define her. By the end, when she finally chose her own happiness, it felt earned and genuine—she completely carried the show for me.

Find Your Chosen Family!
This series is a perfect example of an underrated gem that was ahead of its time in my opinion.Had 3 Will Be Free been made in 2022 or 2023 I feel that they could've made it longer and more fleshed out.
However the show as is, stands amazingly.
Let's start with my favorite aspect of the show, the fact that P' Jennie plays a major character in the show.
We got to see a full fleshed out character with aspirations and who wasn't’ the butt of the joke. One of my biggest issues with Trans characters in BL has always been how they're supposed to be comedic relief, who more often than not they expect you to laugh at. Jennie did a really good job showcasing this and I was so appreciative of the emotions and the depth she gave this character Mae.
I showed up to this drama to see a polyamorous relationship and I got a polyamorous relationship. This was a genuine relationship between a bisexual man, a straight woman, and a gay man. Neo asserted that he loved both Shin and Mew, equally and at the same time. I liked this, I liked how the relationships progressed. I liked that he was able to express how each relationship was different, but he was still getting exactly what it is that he needed. And at the same time seeing Miw and Shin form their own bond and connection while they both loved the same man who loved them. When people hear of an open or polyamorous relationship, they think that it’s cheating or that one person isn’t enough, but that isn’t the case at all and I think this drama did a good job at not cheapening it in such a way. Joss as Neo was great. He played the role of the Bisexual Polyamorous Protector so well that he remains one of my favorite characters to date. (This role is exactly why I have faith in Joss for his upcoming role in My Golden Blood where he'll be playing a Vampire that protects his lover.)
Tay as Shin the sensitive but strong willed artist is my Favorite Tay Tawan character. Now don't get me wrong I LOVE Pete from Dark Blue Kiss but I gotta go with Shin, he was such a sweet angel who deserved the whole world.
And lastly miss Mild as Miw rounded out our trio as the Small but Loud mouthed tough girl who would cut you but if she cared about you, she'd cut For you.
Honestly this Trio gave me life. I'm a sucker for the concept of Chosen family. I dream to have my own one day and seeing positive representations of it on screen brings me so much joy.
Love Whoever and However Many You Want, Respectfully!

So darn close to a perfect 10
When watching my dramas, I'm usually alternating between two or three at a time. Before watching 3 Will Be Free, I was actually Kiss, which stars Mild and Tay as friends. Unbeknownst to me, seeing as I picked 3 Will Be Free at complete random by YT suggestion. I was shocked to see Mild and Tay... but the biggest surprise was at the end of the first episode. From that moment on, I was HOOKED. I didn't watch a single episode of Kiss until I finished 3WBF a few days later.I don't consider myself an expert on Thai dramas but 3WBF had some of the best production that I've seen from a Thai drama so far. The consistent use of blues, pinks, and fluorescent lighting was extremely atmospheric and perfectly encapsulated the neo-noir aesthetics that the team was clearly aiming for.
The storyline was thrilling. The first episode alone stunned me. And there were many many moments in just 10 episodes that continued to drop my jaw. Well, except for almost everything that happened in the last episode. The last episode was formulaic and Mr. Thana went from a ruthless mafia boss to a cartoony, mustache-twirling villain. Despite how ridiculous Mr. Thana's revenge plot was, the ending was still satisfying if I can overlook the outcome of the poly ship between the 3 leads.
I really loved the three main leads and their relationship and chemistry with each other. But there was only two problems that I had with the show overall; and one of those issues is extremely offensive.
The first and, less serious, issue was the ending. The only thing that I didn't see coming in the last episode was the throuple not really being together. This show built a beautiful polyamorous relationship between the three leads. I watched majority of the show on Youtube and as I read the comments, I noticed that a bunch of people felt that Shin was the oddball out in his relationship with Neo and Miw. Personally, I didn't feel that way at all. I admit that it was evident that the dynamics between every two relationship was different but together, they were one, loving unit.
Or so I thought. The ending threw me for a loop. It tried to play too many cards at once. Neo and Miw are together. Shin... isn't with them but the offer is on the table and instead he's dating a minor side character whom he lacked chemistry or good development with. 10 episodes of the main three being the true romance just to end it all on a "we're all just good friends". I'm flabbergasted.
My 2nd issue was a minor character named Mater (and, to some extent, her friend). Mater and her friend are neighbors of Neo who spend their time fantasizing about his sex life. Mater's presence was off-putting. She was exaggeratingly silly and a complete separation from the intense crime ambience. Mater felt like an insert of BL fans and it was a very negative portrayal. She was clearly a cruel joke, which makes it all the worse that Mater is a black trans girl. I found the character to be extremely offensive and I felt uncomfortable whenever she was on screen. The production team actually went through so much effort to make her look unattractive (I'm assuming it was to match her annoying personality) because I managed to find her instagram (g.sabale) and she's stunning.
It's a shame that the show resulted to that for a few cheap laughs because Mae's storyline took my breath away. I was amazed to see a revenge plot in a noir setting be lead by a pre-op trans woman. Jennie, Gunsmile, and Max really brought those characters to life. I found myself rooting for them as well as the main three, despite the direct conflict.
Overall, I think 3 Will Be Free should go down as one of the best Thai dramas. Had it not been for the ending or Mater's character (especially), it would have been a perfect 10.

Good for Action packed Binge Watching
First of all this is my 2nd time writing a review. I don’t normally write reviews, but whenever a Thai series piqued my interest I try to compose a good write up about it. So here it goes, the plot was actually good I did not expect it to end so well due to the fact that I read some spoiler recently before watching this series. The actors who played Neo, Miw, Tay, Ter, Mae, and Leo were actually good. This BL series that my friend suggested is highly recommended, the right blend of romance, action, thrillers and cliff hangers per episode will make you want to finish it over a night. I have to say that I loved every bit of it, although I was quite bored in the first few episodes since I’m leaning towards romance more... I understood what the director was actually trying to build all throughout the series. I learned a lot from their quotable lines, it also shares value, equality, and also taking into account that every actions come with consequences. You live by the gun, die by the gun, I seriously did not expect that Mae would be the one responsible killing Mr. Thana, this is something I did not foresee. However, in an alternate universe I was actually shipping Ter and Mae... unfortunately Ter died. To sum it all up, it’s a great series by GMM TV I’m really loving series made by GMM TV, they really know their target audience. Was this review helpful to you?
GUNS & 3 PEOPLE ON A RUN WITH SOME LOVE TO SHARE
As the philosopher once said: "the power that that has, the intelligence that that has, the clearance that that has, the access that that has, the influence that that has, the profile that that has, the international implications that that has" this is how well made that show is... LIKE I'M NOT KIDDING, once you get into it you won't stop watching. great character design, gripping plot (that in 98% makes total sense), amazing and versitile cast and lots of surprises — watching this show definently won't get boring. there's action, drama and romance mixed in perfect proportions. the series touches (maybe just sometimes a little bit clumsily) important subjects such as: sexuality, gender identity, sexual abuse, domestic violence, anger issues, hate speech, death, etc. gotta give it to the people working on the series that they created a good story that is thought-provoking and definitely sheds some light on topics that still could be a taboo these days (like transsexuality or polyamory). 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND, HENS. (I HAD A LOT OF FUN WATCHING IT. I WAS SAD, HAPPY, EMBARRASSED, SHOCKED AND MAYBE EVEN SHED SOME TEARS *winks*)Was this review helpful to you?
Not my cup of tea!
I have watched a lot of shows, but this one was the worst - my own opinion of course. More of a gangster movie than anything else. Some scenes were just too unbelievable to watch. This series did not stir up any strong feelings of romance, love, happiness, etc. so it wasn't something I would normally watch, I gave it a try because the rating was high, but the only character I even liked was the main character, the mafia boss's son. And in my opinion, he was just used by everyone. It is definitely a dark series. Was this review helpful to you?
Like it very much
I love how messy this series is. It's well executed and the acting is very touching! It just made me realize how we need more three ways in crime and I was so happy to see Jennie Panhan doing such a great job envolved in all that action and drama. .......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................Was this review helpful to you?
I loved this show but this romance line is really confusing...
I loved this show but this romance line is really confusing...I get it's a poly relationship but it didn't feel like it. I couldn't feel the spark between Shin and Miw at all. Shin is gay. He's in love with Neo. Miw is in love with Neo too, and Neo is in love with them both. Shin and Miw loves each other too, but definitely not in the romantic way.
Also at the end this whole Shin and PP scene... I just don't get it.
But I loved it tho. It was really emotional. I loved how it could make me laugh one time and cry next and how I never once skipped. It wasn't boring at all.
Also, I really love when the characters are complex and not just good or bad.
