Both have female leads in a Noona relationship with very persistent, yet adorable male leads.

Both dramas are sports/medical dramas in some sense, and tell the story of the ML and FL together in getting closer to their goals.

Both dramas are about athletes who join the national team. They are set in the national athletes' village.

Mental Coach Jegal deals with mental health and the ML is a mental coach who become close to the skater FL.
Dr. Champ deals with medicine where the FL is a surgeon who gets close to the athlete ML.

Jegal Gil can be compared to the 2ML in Dr. Champ, Lee Do Wook with his witty personality.

The second leads and other characters have interesting stories that were worth it as well.

In my opinion, Dr. Champ wins when it comes to the whole development of the story.

Both are sports dramas about athletes with FL and ML similar in age and become close friends and get closer.

In both drama, the characters deal with an honest unintentional mistake that haunts them, accidents that changed them, and they get to face these incidents and grow.

In both dramas the MLs have bright personalities and a similar energy! And FLs are lovely.

The 2nd leads have good stories in both dramas too. And everyone is charming.
