Murder at Shijinsou (2019)

both involve young people trying to solve a mystery
not super gory. safe for kids to watch... probably o_0;;
both, just watch both!

Both of these movies star Yuki Furukawa and Ryunosuke Kamiki. In addition, they have similar style of humor, although "Murder at Shujinsou" is definitely more o a zany comedy that "Poison Berry in My Brain."

Zhang Jing Yi is the FL in both. The chemistry is natural. The relationship had depth. However, BEITD does not have a satisfactory ending.

Minami Hamabe + zombies, and the girls from Last Idol Family + zombies, what's not to love? Both have some funny moments in them but Murder at Shijinsou has a lot of funny moments. Both also not so gory that you can't enjoy them.
