Just as Taichi and Mioka set off to attend a rock festival, physical symptoms of Mioka's illness start to show. Once again hospitalized, Mioka faces her grim future. Dr. Takanashi allows her to leave after two days, but Dr. Ikegami is most displeased by this.

This was a very profound episode. I loved how Mioka came to understand that her life had meaning and worth, and that other people around her were happier because she had come into this world. This episode was another tear jerker.
