Even more toxic than fifty shades of grey
Oh boy! He faked her medical report and made her belive to have a deadly illness. He even made a doctor to play along. ONLY to meet her. That´s insane. He just could have asked her for a date. And he (who did all tht)dares to freak out because she adopts a dog. WHAT? And even after she finds out she makes sheeps eyes at him and goes through it like a little will-less wifey. This is soooo toxic! And his best female friend which is totally obsessed with him was just as insane as him. They would have deserved each other. I absolutely hate these hysteric, obsessed, insane 2nd interests. I´m sick of these kind of characters. For me the only sane person was his best male friend. After all the plot and the characters are so so wrong and still it is shown as good and romantic. This is NO love and NOT romantic. I´m speechless. I don't think I've ever been this disturbed after watching a ROMANCE drama. If this was a thriller I'd be down, but that's obviously not the case here. **MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD**
It starts out with the cliché of sick FL and macho ceo ML offering a marriage contract. The overall chemistry between them was okay. There were times where the ML would get pushy and "overprotective" (not the good supportive kind but the "don't talk to men" and "don't wear short skirts" kinda protective that we as an audience are supposed to find sexy). But he had remained somewhat respectful or more accurately he wasn't a complete ass to her (the bar is on the floor here).
There is also an amnesia arc here for some reason?????? That does nothing except vilify the already very one dimensional antagonist - the girl best friend and also solidify both the leads feelings for each other.
Then the chilling 10th ep comes. The conflict starts out with the FL getting drugged. Something to note here is that drugging someone is the writer(s) favorite plot device because it has been used 2 times in 10 eps. So anyway, the FL goes to a hospital for a checkup where the doctor asks for her previous diagnosis. She then finds her original test report with the ML which says her tests were normal. So, this man basically stalked a woman and manipulated her into thinking she has CANCER and more or less forced her to sign a marriage contract. This woman had to agree to marry a stranger and put her career on hold all to receive treatment for an illness she didn't even have.
I don't even have to watch the rest of the show to know that she ends up with him and I definitely don't plan on wasting more time with this and neither should you :)
PS I would give OVERALL and REWATCH a 0 but it won't let me do it.

I think the guy did great but not so sure with the girl, it was fine I guess. I find it tolerable enough to be watched till the end. Side characters are enjoyable too.
I didn't fond of romance genre that much, yet sometimes we need this fluff contents. But the main guy is still wronged! (and visually appealing)

This drama is a light one, so do expect the quality. It is made for fun.

I'm from Las Vegas, I really love it and I can't wait for the next season. Even thought I don't understand but thanks God they have a subtitle so I'm really happy. Hopefully the same cast. I love Xu kai Cheng and Xia Lin (sorry I forgot her real name :)), they are really good. 'Till next season, good luck guys! :)

Cute
Well, it was pretty cute.I enjoyed the music.
I, most of the time, try to avoid chinese dramas like this one. They could be too cheesy.
But I have to admit that I actually enjoyed this one.
One thing that I didn't like was definitely him being a little bit toxic... like that's not how things work. You can't "force" someone to marry you. Yeah, Yi Zhou may be in love with Xia Lin (maybe). Be he kinda stalked her 🙄 like... that's creepy....
But overall it's cute.
I'd think I'd re-watch it sometimes... but skipping scenes.

THIS IS CRAZY
* spoiler*i thought this was the cutest drama id ever seen a drama about a girl with a illness and needs bone marrow and the male lead is her match they get into a contract relationship she gets then bone marrow she needs up until the 10th episode that man is PSYCHOTIC HE FAKES HER ILLNESS AND TRYS TO JUSTIFY WITH SOME I LOVE YOU CRAP. A STALKER AND A WERDIO HE HAS NO CONSIDERATION FOR HER FELLINGS ONLY HIS AND SHE LOCKS HER UP BUT OFCCC THEY TRY TO PLAY IT OFF AS LOVE THAT IS NOT LOVE ITS OBSESSION overall the drama could’ve been really good but the plot twist is really odd but it’s an okay drama just really unexpected the man is not good for hee and he needs some therapy and to stay far away from her

The plot is so insane—I LOVE IT!!
Hot take, but I love this drama. I actually have it in my cart in eBay to buy the DVDs. It’s so bizarre and weird that it’s probably one of my favs up there with A Love So Beautiful. Hate season two, too bland. If you don’t appreciate bizarre storylines and questionable/unhealthy behavior and relationships this may not be for you. On the first episode I thought that the story would be boring, but I did get hooked up and start looking up for the next episodes. The chemistry between the 2 main leads are cute and they look good being a couple. But after episode 13, I already got bored. Maybe because the story between the main leads is too fast. After episode 5 (?) they already got married and the male lead accepted the offer of the girl. And starting from there, the story gets more weirder, from the friend of the male lead liking the female lead, the male lead is obsessed with his wife, the female lead doesn't really have a deadly disease, and more. I start to get tired of the story. Problems after problems. And the female lead is stupid for getting back to his obsessed husband. And a little bit weird and annoying(?) that the clothes of the female lead keeps repeating, as in the same top with the same pants/skirt that she wore on the 1st episode will appear on the 8th and 12th episode. I mean your husband is rich why not buy new clothes.
But the good things here in this drama are, the music, I did like some of the characters, and the story of this drama is a little bit good compare to the other Chinese dramas that I have watched. The acting of the characters are good too. So I will give it a 6.5/10.

This drama went from cute and fluff to crazy and manipulative, then it explores the thriller and crime genre but finally made its way back to the family genre. What I liked about this drama is the chemistry of the leads, the cute antics and gestures the ML does for the FL, and the relationship between the leads and their close friends. I enjoyed the plot twist, in which I totally did not saw coming. I cursed the ML for doing what he did, but it was somewhat realistic that the ML and FL lead took some time to reconcile, so I kind of brushed off the absolute craziness that is the manipulative trick. Overall, I enjoyed it. Can’t wait for the second season with little baby! Was this review helpful to you?
